3 Heywood

Morning 

I slowly opened my eyes I can see Lola on top of me. 

"Wake up girl we're leaving" 

After what happened last night I decided to go to Heywood and get the Glen apartment instead. Initially I wanted to go to city center because it's more secure, clean and safe compared to the other district, I wanted to buy the Corpo Plaza apartment but decided against it. 

If we go to the city center and buy an expensive apartment many rich people will take notice and they will try to find my background which I don't have and get suspicious. I want to take everything slow and not bring too much trouble to myself and Lola. I stood up ate some breakfast and prepare to leave. 

Bang 

I forgot that we went to a different apartment since the first one I broke the door looking behind me I can see Lola smiling. 

"I'm an idiot" 

Even though I have Max intelligence it doesn't make me wise I can see some people going up the stairs thanks to my modded optics, Without any delay I activated my ghost camo and exited the hotel. 

[An hour later] 

We arrived in Heywood I look at my surroundings and headed to a alleyway I make sure there's no people or cameras and deactivated my ghost camo. 

"Okay Lola it's time hopefully nobody is stupid enough to attack us which I highly doubt it since animals are rare and I don't have visible cyberware they will try to attack me and take you away." 

"Grrr" 

"Yes, I know girl but we can't keep hiding let's hope the apartment it's on sale" 

Just like that we exited the alleyway we were looking around admiring the scenery comparing to Pacifica, this place is more decent while walking I noticed people looking at us or to be more precise, they're looking at Lola. 

"So far so good I don't feel any ill intentions" 

Thankfully most of them are civilians but if you look closely some of them have bad intentions especially the ones wearing gold. 

The Valentinos if I have to describe them there are neutral gangs they won't attack indiscriminately they are bound by a strong moral code but not all of them follow this moral code they can be friendly and hostile. 

"Be prepared Lola we've been followed" 

"Woof" 

Looking at my mini map there's a total of 3 people following us We keep walking to our destination hopefully they will not stop us and leave us alone unfortunately that didn't happen, I saw one of the dot getting closer. At that moment I felt he hand on my neck and a pistol on my back. 

"Don't move" 

"Grrr, woof, woof" 

"Tell your dog to shut up or I'll shoot shoot you" 

"It's okay girl everything is under control" 

The other two gangs are looking around to make sure nobody is watching the guy drag me into a circular place. 

"Take it easy man we can just talk about it No need to get violent" 

"Shut up today is not your lucky day boy, you better give us the dog and everything you have, If you don't want to die" 

Not even surprised I know this will happen looking at the tree gangs they're definitely from the valentinos two guys and one girl They look fairly young except for the guy pointing a gun at me, he looks to be in his 30s. 

The man pushes me into a wall well it's pointing his gun at me. 

"No, I'm not going to hand over my dog it's best that you leave us alone we didn't do anything to provoke the valentinos." 

"I don't care if you didn't provoke us, give us the dog" 

"Grrr, woof, woof" 

"What about your moral code?" 

"F**k the code" 

The man came to me and punched me in the gut even though he was using a gorilla arms I didn't feel anything, besides that that punch was meant to kill me, the person in question was surprise that I didn't receive any damage. 

"You said f**k the code too bad if you follow it you could have live." 

"Splat, Rep" 

Since he aimed at my gut, I decided to repay the favor by ripping his stomach open. The poor baster was in shock seeing his organs spiel out looking at me with fear same with the other 2, looking at the man I said. 

"today is not your lucky day now repent for your sins" 

Bang 

I got shot in the head but nothing happened looking up I saw that young man aiming the pistol towards me. 

Bang, bang bang, bang, bang 

I got shot multiple times in the head one of the bullets went through my mouth I panic but thankfully I'm bulletproof from the inside too good to know but now I'm pits in a blink of an eye I was in front of the young man. 

"What?" 

I took his hand and ripped it off 

"Aaaaaaaah!" 

smack 

Using his ripped off hand has a baseball bat I beat the living s**t out of him. When I stop and look at the last gang the young lady on the ground shaking in fear, picking up the gun that shot me I walked towards her. 

"Please don't kill me" 

"Why should I you tried to kill me" 

"We just want the dog" 

"I said no and this happened, sorry but you made your choice" 

I aimed the gun at her head when I was about to who the trigger I stop because she did something I didn't expect. 

"Please God forgive me for the action that I did" 

She was praying to tell you the truth I was a little bit surprised since this world doesn't value life and seeing someone praying I decided to wait for her to finish. A minute passed and she stopped praying looking at me with fear and acceptance closed her eyes waiting for me to end her life. 

"May you find peace" 

bang 

Just like that I left 

"..." 

... huh? 

"I'm alive?" 

Looking around not seeing the man that killed 2 of her fellow gang, touching every part of her body to see if there's any injuries. 

"I'm alive" 

She started crying knowing she was paired. 

"Woof" 

"Yeah, yeah, yeah she only wanted to steal not kill." 

Yes I didn't kill her just because of that if somebody wants to kill me then I won't hesitate to end their life but if somebody steals from me then I'll take everything they have or I'll punish them. Since I killed two of her fellow gang members that would be her punishment. 

"I can't believe a bullet went inside my mouth, God I hope the apartment has a toothbrush" 

"Woof, woof" 

We finally arrived to our destination luckily the apartment on sale thankfully I could transfer the eddies by scanning my hand (in the game there's two ways to get money by shards and digital). I went inside the elevator a minute passed and the elevator doors opened. 

"Finally we're here our new home" 

"Woof, woof, woof" 

I bought myself one of the best apartment you can have the game even though is located in Heywood a neutral district. Looking around blend of tradition and modern front of one of the best views night city. I can see Lola jumping around looking everywhere sniffing every corner I smile I decided to take a long-waited shower, brush my teeth and headed straight to bed while Lola sleeps next to me. 

"Tomorrow we'll go to El coyote bar and see if Jackie is still alive It's so hopefully I can prevent his death."
