8 : SURPRISE!
[MUFY'S POV]
Running off I barged into my brother's side heading straight into the room.
I sighted my mom sittied on the bed beside my brother who was astonished by me barging into the room.
With no second thoughts I flew on him
"Where's my gift"
I spatted blinking twice in a row.
"Kiddo!!! You didn't even welcome me back and your asking for your gift?
He uttered throughing me a dirty look!
I got off him, suddenly a hard thing aggressively came hitting me
"ouchhh"
I looked to see mom's hand going back to it various place
"Mom!!!! I shouted
"You spoilt brat you can't even greet your brother and your asking him for gifts"
"Oh mom..... it's actually okay she's still a kiddo so I don't blame her"
Khalil uttered while smiling at mom and smirking at me!
"Oh pls brother Khalil I told you I'm not a kid"
"Alright kiddo "
he answered without sparing me another glance
Ahhhhh"
I groaned in uttered desperation
"so how've you been bro"
Finally I asked
"Well doing great as you can see"
He uttered making his way up grabbing a water jog.
He filled up his cup and turned back sitting on the Chair closer to his bed making him face me and mom directly.
"Mom don't worry I'll be over there in a sec I'm just gonna eat here and rest before coming to you"
He uttered smiling lovingly at his mom
"You sure?
"Ummm" he nodded
"Awwwwwwn my baby boy is all grown up now he doesn't want to stress"
Coming closer she patted his hair making her way up Khalil automatically got up right after her.
She engulfed him in another sweet motherly hug.
Slowly letting go she cupped her son's face giving him a peck she smiled lovely
Casually she made her way out.
"Okay back to business"
I uttered looking at Khalil
Sipping down some water with his gaze falling on me he kept the glass of water down.
"Woahh kiddo you've grown taller now, 2 years ago you were so little how could you grow up this fast in just 2 years"
He ended chuckling.
I moaned in frustration
"Brother Khaliiiil! why are you doing this to me pleeeeease"
"Alright okay! I'm sirous now how's school going "
He asked looking interested
"I hate school it's going bad! tho I study buh it's still exhausting "
"Yeah it's exhausting but you better braise yourself for the worst you're gonna be a senior next year and after that uni comes next"
"Hmmm"
I signed in frustration
"I know right! this is just the beginning"
"whatever let's not ruin my mood with school talks! My gift? Remember i asked you to get me something"
I spatted smiling into his eyes
"I've got nothing for you kiddo "
He answered making his way up to his walk-in closet.
"WHATTTT"
I stood up quickly following him.
"you know you can't do this to me you promised to get me so many cute stuffs from Japan and now what!! You've got to be kidding me"
I stomped my legs observing him scrolling through his hanged clothes.
"Well too bad I forgot to"
Khalil spatted skimming through his clothes walking all over his closet while I followed him everywhere
"This really is not fair you need to get me something, you have to"
"Okay I think I'll go with this one"
He uttered bringing out a black hoodie
"Ignoring me Sirously?
I asked irritated.
Khalil unbuttoned his shirt, removing it he changed to the hoodie
"Why are you changing didn't you just wore that one"
I asked
"Yeah it's uncomfortable and by the way I was just kidding I've got you something but not gonna open my box right now I'm tired"
Yes!! You've got no problem I can wait, the most important thing is that it's here"
I brimmed in excitement my facials suddenly changing from irritation to excitement!
Khalil observed me chuckling at my goofiness,
He made his way out of the closet.
"Aren't you gonna come out"
I heard him yelled from the room interrupting my reverie..... curious as to what he got me.
I came out from his walk in closet and made my way out before leaving I shouted
"byeee rest nicely"
And with that I disappeared to the main house.
Khalil's gaze trailed behind me he smiled shaking his head
"Well she still as childish as before"
He uttered to himself.
