Exam Season

The busiest and most stressful moment of every student's life arrived after a few days. Exam period.

Every classroom, the library, and even the school's grounds have been taken over by students who are all cramming their studies into every available space. Even jocks sat next to geeks to comprehend the math and earn good grades.

Same applied to Daisy. Since last week, the girl has not eaten adequately. She panicked as the exam dates drew near. All she wanted this year was to get wonderful "A's" in her subjects so she could pass her medical test, but she still doubted herself and thought she must be a nerd. She did receive outstanding grades the previous year, but she always doubts herself. She believes she can do nothing well.

"Only if she could see herself from Edward's eyes"

Edward is laid-back and appears to be a smart reader. Although like Daisy, he experiences tension. He did feed and look after his own needs in addition to Daisy's. He'll bring her some juice and a few bite-sized goodies. He will grasp her chin and force food into her mouth if she objects, though.

He will make stern eye contact with her and say, "Daisy...." She will obediently open her mouth, and then she will eat on her own, bolstering Edward's ego with his success. Edward set up a time with Daisy to study for his exams despite the fact that he knows quite well that she is ignoring herself.

To obtain his required daily dosage of Daisy, which must be obtained at all costs.

As they study for exams, the two of them will meet at their regular cafe. The outcomes of their project were released one week before exams. The tense sensation Daisy was experiencing at the last second because of the wait. But when Edward arrived with their findings, which showed two enormous scarlet "A+" on both of their reports, she felt a sense of relief and immense elation. Daisy was so happy that she jumped into Edward's arms. Edward is restraining her with the same force. causing them to chuckle at one another and split ways.

Next week is exam week. Getting up early, reviewing the entire curriculum, leaving for school early, disrupted sleep schedule, etc. Daisy sat in the middle of the exam room, close to Anna, and Edward sat at the far end. Both of them will wait outside the building for the other after the tests. When the other arrives, they will talk about the examinations, the questions, the answers, their responses, and so forth.

Exams were completed after a few days. Although the hectic timetable had changed, stress remained. Relief from the holidays won't help until the results are in. Daisy and Edward will stay in contact over the phone. reassuring one another that wonderful things will occur, etc.

"Result day" finally arrived on that day. Daisy and Edward arrived to school with their parents to pick up their transcripts. Edward was waved at by Daisy when she saw him. "Go honey, chat to him," said her mum. After stating, "No mum, I will go after watching my result," Daisy looked at Edward, who gave her a thumbs up with both hands, and she giggled. When she saw her grades, she happily hugged her mother and exclaimed, "She received straight A's in all her subjects this year, and she also topped in her batch."

"Congratulations, honey. I knew you'd made it. Now go meet Edward; he probably is waiting." Daisy approached Edward with pride while a blush started to appear on her face. with a silly grin. Edward teasedly tipped his head and said, "Congratulations, little one." Daisy hugged Edward hard while remaining silent and wrapping her arms around his neck.

Daisy muttered again against him, "I am so glad Edward." Edward encouraged Daisy by patting her on the back and added, "So am I." She continued to hold him while saying, "If you weren't there, I would never have reached the top." "Nah, you'll do what you did last time, remember? You'll always do that." Edward reaffirmed. Daisy backed away from his hug while keeping her hands on his neck, saying, "But you helped me a lot."

Daisy was completely unmoved by Edward's next words and hugged him again while muttering lowly and attempting to cover her teary eyes. "Daisy, you are extraordinary, no matter how much you say you aren't, but I hope you could see yourself from my eyes to realise how precious you are." Both of them continued to stay like like this for a while, then Daisy muttered lowly "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, Edward," but suddenly Daisy backed away and inquired, "Hey, what about you, your result?"

With a nonchalant "Right behind my little one" and a shared laugh, Edward signalled the conclusion of another high school year.
