The shade, Elijah, prowled through the dimly lit streets of the cities and towns. His feline form, sleek and shadowy, allowed him to move through the night unnoticed. His jet-black fur blended perfectly with the inky darkness around him. Elijah's cat-like eyes glowed with an eerie green light as he scoured the alleys and local swanky bars for any sign of the elusive dark witch, Sylvia.
Elijah doubted she was dumb to be present at such public places when Devera was on her hunt. Yet he didn't want to take any risks. Besides such shady places were the best spots for interesting gossip and secret information that travelled long distances without making any sound.
Elijah had been on Sylvia's trail for weeks, but the witch proved to be a master of hiding, slipping through his grasp at every turn. He had only a few cryptic clues to her whereabouts, and he was growing increasingly frustrated with each passing day.
