The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows through the gaslit streets. Corbin was disturbed by the incident from the evening. He was also upset with his uncle and aunt for hiding Vance's advances from him.
The first place that came to his mind where he could cool off and vent out his anger in the most civilised way was Sylvia's home. But he had already spent a good amount of time there today and didn't want to bother her every now and then.
So to open his heart, he went to meet his friends at Hunt's house. With a two-storey house with a large garden around it, Hunt belonged to one of the few wealthy families in the town.
His butler prepared a table in the garden for the six friends, serving them with drinks and snacks.
