Days passed, and the buzz around Finn's mother's unexpected suicide began to fade away. Sylvia was living her best life with newfound confidence and a sense of authority. She was more carefree and happy.
With her growing closeness to Corbin, she couldn't ask for anything more. He made her feel special as if she was the centre of his universe. The attention from his family and friends which came as a bonus to her relationship with him filled her life with colours.
Unaware of the fact that she had someone watching her closely, calculating her every step, interpreting her every action and weighing her every word.

"Martin, stop throwing daggers at that wall, or you might put up a hole in it." White cracked at his own joke, patting Hunt on the back only to shut up quickly after a warning glare from Hunt.
"You look lost these days, Martin. Is everything okay?" Smith asked, taking a seat beside Sigerten.
