Sylvia stood staring at Leo and Roger's dead bodies that looked nothing like them. Their bodies were covered in wrinkles, and all the mass inside them was gone. They looked like two skeletons covered by wrinkled and pale skin.
The chaotic sounds had stopped, replaced by thick sombre silence. The raven watched Sylvia falling on her knees as reality hit her like a brick thrown at her face.
There were no tears, nor there was pain or regret in her heart. But that feeling of emptiness she always carried with her seemed to be grown into something bigger and evident. All her other emotions had turned numb as no thoughts entered her mind.
The raven could feel the inner battle she was battling. Her desire for power had pushed her beyond the limits, and now there was no way to turn back.
