A whole week has passed since Yuan was transported to the Primal Expanse. During this time, Xi Meili remained at the Endless Beast Den, anxiously waiting for Yuan to return.

Kelan went to speak with Senior Bai and explained the situation to him. Unsurprisingly, Senior Bai was extremely upset to hear this news. 

"Forgive me, Senior Bai. I have failed my mission." Kelan lowered his head and apologized.

Senior Bai didn't respond for a long time before sighing, "You're not at fault. I doubt I would be able to prevent it even if I were right beside him. Also, nobody could've expected a rift to appear. Follow me."

"Are we going to…?" Kelan swallowed nervously and asked.

Senior Bai nodded, confirming his suspicions, "Yes, we're going to speak with the Celestial Overlord."
