A Feast Before the Festival

"Did you want me to save you sooner? I knew there was someone inside that was capable of saving you, so why would I waste my energy?" The Primal Monarch shrugged with a smile on his face after hearing Yuan's words.

"What if she didn't save me?" he asked.

"But that didn't happen, so why dwell on it?" 

Yuan sighed and no longer tried to argue with him.

"Ahem." The Dragon God cleared his throat. "As I was saying. If you want to become my descendant, I will make it possible."

"You were serious?" Yuan looked at him with wide eyes.

"Of course. Do you want me to show you how serious I am?"

"Hey, why are you trying to poach him when you didn't even save him?" Primal Monarch suddenly asked.

"My daughter saved him, which is the same thing." Dragon God shrugged.

"I can't believe such shameless words are coming out of that mouth. Did you hit your head too hard recently?"
