'Where are we going?' Alden could not help but think as he could feel them moving at an extremely fast speed. But he did not dare open his eyes.

Aether jumped from tree to tree, going deeper into the forest.

In about fifteen minutes, they reached a river, and Aether stopped to let Alden rest.

Alden dared open his eyes only after feeling his legs touch the ground.

"D-Did we arrive?" He asked as he slowly opened his eyes. He could hear the sound of water flowing.

His eyes widened upon setting his eyes at the scenery before him.

The water slowly flew downward, and the snowflakes peacefully fell on the river, melting upon contact with the water.

The ever-green trees around were high, blocking even the little daylight of the winter day from penetrating through them.

It was Alden's first time seeing trees so high, reaching a height of up to 30 meters.

He looked like an ant compared to the trees.
