The Missing Piece

"I really don't understand what actually happened on that day," Lizzie said, trying to remember what happened on the day of the incident.

"At that time, I was getting ready at my mother's restaurant to start working to replace the person who disappeared. But then, he came suddenly and he was surprised to see me," Lizzie said about the beginning of seeing the missing employee who returned.

"His appearance was indeed that of a restaurant employee. A green and white outfit with 'Gale's Restaurant' written in yellow in the middle of his outfit," Lizzie explained the appearance of the missing employee.

"He had white skin and no hair. His eyes were brown and his eyebrows were thick. His face looked like someone around 30 years old and he was slightly taller than me," Lizzie continued explaining her mother's employee's appearance who had disappeared.

"He asked if I was a new employee at the time. Before I could answer, my mother saw him and called him by his name, Dex." Lizzie continued her story.

"They both seemed to be arguing for quite a while. I didn't really hear their argument because I had to go to the front to clean the dining area. Until finally Dex changed his appearance and left my mother's restaurant," Lizzie still continuing her story.

"Then my mother came out and told me what happened with Dex," Lizzie continued seriously.

"My mother said, 'he thought it was still Friday, where was he for 3 days? Maybe he didn't realize he slept for 3 days after bringing pregnant women who came from the sky and caused a stormy in the restaurant'," Lizzie recounted her mother's words at the time of the incident.

"Yuki, could that be..." Jun suddenly stopped talking.

"Please continue your story, Lizzie," Yuki asked Lizzie to continue her story.

"I was also shocked by the inexplicable incident after hearing my mother's words. However, she confirmed the pregnant woman's situation and asked Dex to take her to the hospital immediately." said Lizzie who was sure about her mother's words.

"Do you know which hospital your mother's employee was supposed to take the pregnant woman?" Yuki asked, feeling anxious and hoping it was her mother.

"The nearest hospital from my mother's restaurant is the only one in the area, which is S Hospital," Lizzie replied.

"Ahh, of course, that hospital." said Jun sambil tersenyum.

"Can you take us there please?" Yuki pleaded with Lizzie.

"I'm sorry Yuki, I can't take you to the hospital today. Willy took me here, and he's busy helping my dad right now," Lizzie replied.

"What if we contact your mom's employee Dex, is that possible?" Crux asked Lizzie.

"It's possible if my mom still has Dex's contact at her restaurant," Lizzie answered.

"Can you please ask your mom now?" Yuki requested from Lizzie.

"Can you both calm down and tell me what is your relation with all of this?" Lizzie asked, looking confused by their response.

"This might be related to us, Lizzie. We'll tell you everything after you contact your mom," Crux calmly responded, asking Lizzie to reach out to her mother.

"Okay, I'll try asking my mom. Please wait a moment," Lizzie said, promptly contacting her mother.

Lizzie then pressed the S logo on her outfit. Her nanotech outfit slowly transformed into a light blue helmet that fully covered her head. There was a glass in the front of the helmet, similar to Professor Gale's glasses. On the right and left sides of the helmet, there were silver S logos. From the outside, it looked like Lizzie was talking to someone, but her voice couldn't be heard at all, only the movement of her mouth.

"Is that possible, Crux?" Jun asked Crux.

"Seriously? After everything we've been through, you're still asking if that's possible? Really, Jun?" Crux responded to Jun's question with a hint of annoyance.

"Sorry, Crux, my mind is still struggling to process all of this," Jun apologized to Crux.

"I really hope that's my mom. I hope she's okay," Yuki said.

Shortly after, Lizzie's helmet slowly merged back into her outfit.

Lizzie looked at Crux and shook her head with disappointment.

"Sorry, my mom said they deleted and blacklisted Dex's contact because he disappeared for 3 days without any message," Lizzie explained the information she got from her mother.

"When will your dad or mom come back here, Lizzie?" Yuki asked.

"They should be coming here tomorrow for vacation," Lizzie replied.

"It looks like we can only go to the hospital tomorrow, Yuki," Crux said, trying to calm Yuki down.

"I want to go to my room," Yuki replied, leaving the three of them disappointed.

Yuki walked to her room with her head down.

Jun briefly read Yuki's thoughts before she left for her room.

Jun knew that Yuki was really hoping to meet her mother as soon as possible.

Yuki is also afraid if what Lizzie tells is not actually her mother.

"Now please tell us about yourselves," Lizzie requested to them.

"Okay, but this might sound just as strange as the incident you just described," Crux said.

"I am ready to hear it," Lizzie replied.

"Well, actually we come from another dimension," said Crux.

"Another dimension? Like a completely different world?" Lizzie asked, surprised and confused.

"Yeah, we got lost here because of a bomb explosion," Jun replied.

"More precisely, we're accidentally here because we were sucked into a black hole created by an explosion," Crux clarified the incident.

"What? Thank God you survived that explosion," Lizzie said, shocked to hear Crux and Jun's words.

"We not only survived, but we also became stronger because of the radiation from the black hole journey," Jun added to his explanation.

"So because of that incident, Yuki has powers she didn't have before?" Lizzie asked, curious.

"Actually, it's not just Yuki," Crux added, looking at Jun.

"We also have special abilities because of that radiation," Crux continued to inform that he and Jun also have special abilities.

"What are your abilities?" Lizzie asked, getting more curious.

"Crux can penetrate objects," Jun replied.

"Jun can read minds," Crux added.

"Really? So all this time you knew what I was thinking about?" Lizzie asked Jun.

"Mmmm, if we looked into each other's eyes, I could read your mind," Jun replied, slightly embarrassed for having read Lizzie's mind before.

"What did you read?" Lizzie asked, a little worried.

"Mmmm, that was when we shook hands...," Jun didn't finish his sentence.

"I think let's just forget it," Lizzie cut off Jun's words.

"Alright, I'll keep Yuki company in her room. If you need anything, just tell me," said Lizzie as she headed towards her room.

"Wait, Lizzie," Crux called out to Lizzie.

"What's up, Crux?" Lizzie turned to face Crux.

"Where's the place to wash the dishes?" asked Crux.

"Just enter the door in the kitchen." Lizzie replied,

"Alright, Thanks Lizzie." Crux said as he tidied up his plate

Crux and Jun watched Lizzie walk towards her room.They both waited for Lizzie until she was truly inside her room.After Lizzie had entered her room, Jun and Crux began talking about her.

"What's on Lizzie's mind?" Crux asked curiously.

"You hear what she said? She said forget it," Jun replied with a smile.

"Is it her secret?" Crux kept asking about Lizzie's thoughts that Jun had read.

"I think so," Jun replied with a smile.

"You're so rude," Crux responded to Jun's answer.

"I don't want to know someone's secret, but I accidentally heard it in my mind," Jun explained his situation.

"The point is you still owe me and Yuki for your careless words before," Crux reminded Jun of his words at that time.

"What? Come on, Crux, Lizzie already knows my ability now. and you're still bringing that up?" Jun felt that Crux was unfair.

"Really? you sacrificed Yuki to prove your reckless words," Crux explained the situation at that time.

"Alright, alright," Jun replied, feeling helpless.

After that, Crux and Jun cleaned up their dining equipment in the sink.

They also cleaned up the kitchen utensils that Lizzie and Yuki had used to cook.

Jun washed the dining equipment and Crux washed the kitchen utensils.

When Crux was carrying the kitchen utensils to the sink, suddenly the utensils just pass through his body and fell to the floor.

Jun, who heard about it, immediately approached Crux.

"Are you okay, Crux?" Jun asked, seeing Crux picking up the fallen kitchen utensils.

"I thought I knew how to control my ability," Crux replied, feeling confident that he knew how to control his power.

"Thank God if you can control it now. Now, let's quickly clean everything up," Jun said as he went back to washing the dishes.

"Wait, Jun, look at this," Crux told Jun to see what he was doing.

"What now, Crux?" Jun waited to see what Crux was going to do.

Crux took a knife in his right hand.

Then he threw the knife up while looking at the knife.

Jun was surprised by what Crux did.

"What the F! Crux, watch your head!!" Jun shouted in shock and warned Crux.

The knife thrown high by Crux was right above his head.

Shortly after, the knife flew down towards Crux's head.

However, the knife went through Crux's entire body without causing any harm.

Jun, who witnessed this, felt relieved and impressed by Crux's ability.

"Damn it Crux, you almost gave me a heart attack, you know?," said Jun, who panicked for a moment watching Crux's stunt.

"You should have read my mind before asking. That's the first lesson to train your logic in reading minds," said Crux, laughing and planning to train Jun's abilities.

"What about your training? Do you prefer me to throw coconuts or use a knife to pierce your body?," Jun asked jokingly.
