The Pinnacle of War

As the stonemasoned walls were crashing down around the city of Antioch, the templar general looked around the ruins and heard his soldiers victory cry. Ardimere called out to his troops saying "Bury your fallen brothers and clear the streets of the dead, for tonight we celebrate our victory." It was when he started feeling a bit paranoid like the battle was not over. He scanned the rooftops and windows of the remains of the stone buildings around him. Finding nothing, he got off his horse to peruse through his pack to find water. The skinsack was empty, an arrow had passed throught it leaking out the refreshing liquid. That feeling hit him again. Whispering to himself, "When do I get a brea.." His men scream in anger after watching an arrow struck his helmet. They turn to see who shot down their general only to find a small boy with a bow and quiver. One of the soldiers struck down the boy in retaliation. Ardimere wakes up to find out it was a boy who shot him praised the soldier for doing so, but he didn't hear him. He looked around barked at his soldiers, "Search the city again, find where there maybe more who are still fighting!" They looked as if they did not hear him. He went up to his lieutenant to grab his shoulder only for his hand to pass through it.
