Chapter 23

While we are stranded here on the island, I'm thankful that no one dared to hurt us and it's all thanks to the animals who are always there to guide and guard us although, Zariyah is still clueless about the animals. Sometimes, she often gets paranoid especially when the demon chase and attacks us.

"Can we just stay here? I don't want to live in the city due to the witch and demons." And while she was saying that, she trembled in fear. I can't help but feel sad for her. She didn't expect that witches and demons are real. She thought before that it was just imagination or myth but when she encountered it, she was now having a trauma.

What should I do now? I wanted to help her. I wanted to ease the fear and trauma she have but how? Aside from distracting her, how? She shouldn't be experiencing it. If only we didn't appear in the picture, this world wouldn't be a mess.
