"I know." Damon admitted, his voice low.
"Let's put all this depressing stuff behind us and enjoy whatever time we have left." Damon suggested, his voice an attempted but failed try at nonchalance.
An invisible dark cloud hang over their heads as they stood there in silence.
"I am not going to let you die." Alexander assured, his emerald green eyes burning with a determination that touched Damon's heart.
"I am going to do whatever it takes to save you." Alexander declared as he turned to face him, placing a soft kiss on Damon's head.
"I won't stop you." Damon whispered, knowing he had little choice in the matter and it gave him a lot more hope to see past his fate.
Alexander was willing to fight for him and the thought alone meant alot.
What had he done to deserve this man?
A small smile tugged at his lips as he gazed at Alexander.
Damon must have done something right.
