Daemon stood on a vast battlefield, an unwilling spectator in a scene of pure devastation. The sky was dyed red, and the air smelled of fire and blood. In front of him, countless mythological creatures stood, their colossal forms dominating the horizon.
Suddenly a deafening roar made him look towards the middle of the battle. A white dragon, majestic and resplendent, whose mere presence made the earth tremble.
The energy emanating from the white dragon was so overwhelming that Diamond almost fell to her knees. He had never felt such a powerful force. Around the dragon, monstrous creatures of all kinds gathered: phoenixes, rock giants, and other beasts arising from the oldest legends. Each of these creatures was a formidable enemy, but together they formed a fearsome army.
However, the white dragon launched an attack, its breath of white fire devastating enemies that got too close. The flames were pure and destructive, reducing everything they touched to ashes. Even so, the enemies did not retreat. A fiery phoenix pounced on the white dragon, releasing a wave of hellfire. The white dragon counterattacked with a blinding beam of light, incinerating the phoenix in mid-flight.
In the midst of the battle, the white dragon displayed a devastating skill. He raised his head to the sky and, with a deafening roar, created a circle of light in the air. "Circle of Divine Light," his voice echoed across the battlefield. The light in the circle intensified into a blinding flash, and in an instant, all enemies caught within its range disappeared, reduced to ashes by the sheer energy of the light.
But the battle was far from over. From above, a huge black dragon almost as big as the white dragon rushed against him. The two winged colossi engaged in battle, unleashing a storm of fury and power. The blows echoed like thunder in the air.
In a moment of carelessness, the white dragon received a surprise attack and could not react in time. A dark flash cut through the air, leaving a trail of fading shadows. Daemon could barely follow the movement with his eyes and could not find the attacker, but the result was evident: one of the white dragon's majestic wings was cut cleanly.
The white dragon let out a cry of pain that echoed in the surrounding valleys, his figure wavering in the air as he struggled to maintain his balance. The bleeding wound emitted a pale glow in the darkness of the night, a sign of the extent of the damage inflicted.
At that moment, everything fell into darkness. The moonlight suddenly disappeared, leaving Daemon enveloped in total blackness. An uneasy feeling washed over him as he struggled to find his bearings in the oppressive darkness.
And then, as if the darkness itself had come to life, red eyes glowed in the blackness. Fixed on Daemon, they radiated a cold, merciless malice. An ominous presence enveloped him, and a guttural voice whispered his name in a tone that chilled his blood. "Daemon Blackwood..."
Diamond woke up with a start, his body covered in sweat. His heart was pounding as he tried to take in what he had just experienced. He had never before had a dream so vivid, so real. As he sat on his bed, he looked at his trembling hands and couldn't help but wonder about the true nature of his being.
"What the hell was that?" he muttered to himself. He tried to remember if he had ever heard of a white dragon in the stories and legends of that world, but nothing came to mind. It was as if that being had been erased from the collective memory.
Determined to find answers, Diamond went back to bed, although sleep was slow to return. Tomorrow he would investigate more about that white dragon. He couldn't shake the feeling that this dream was more than just a nightmare.
The next morning, Diamond woke up early, the memory of the dream still vivid in his mind. He decided not to mention anything to his parents for the moment; he didn't want to worry them for no reason. Instead, he headed to his family's library, a vast room filled with ancient books and dusty manuscripts.
He spent hours searching for any reference to a white dragon, but his efforts were in vain, he would try to find more information about this creature in his future academy if he was lucky enough to pass his test of course.
Hoy regresaba su maestra, había olvidado por completo los libros que le dejo, sin querer hacer que se enfade se pudo a estudiarlos.
