Creator's path

Dungeon rewards

[Congratulations! You've cleared the F grade dungeon for the first time.]

[Rewards:

[1100 WE]

[Bronze crown]

[1 Race intelligence upgrade card]

[1 Race bloodline upgrade card]

[Body materials of 89 goblins]

[25 F-grade Mana stones] ]

Eamon was trembling at the thought of these rewards, even if it was just the World's essence he would be extremely satisfied. Not only that, but he also got the Mana stones that only appear in the dungeon walls and are often hard to get.

He immediately decided to check the description of the other rewards.

[Bronze crown, Grade: E+

Description: Gives the wearer and his group 15% morale boost at all times. Makes wearer immune against simple mind affecting spells.

An relic of pervious goblin chief that used this crown to become the chief of his tribe.]

Eamon felt that this was a good item, although it only provided a 15% morale boost. He believed the immunity to simple mind-affecting spells was a valuable effect. Items with the effect of immunity against such spells were generally of grade D or higher, so he knew that this was a valuable acquisition.

After that, he let the crown materialize in the Eldoria world and then placed it on Syrn's head. After all, Syrn was the leader of the demi-humans at this moment.

Syrn was still mourning his fallen comrades, who had died, when he felt something slightly heavy appear on his head. He quickly touched his head and recognized the shape of the item.

He understood that this was the crown of the goblin chief. After thinking for a moment, he knelt down and praised his creator for his generosity.

Eamon was satisfied seeing this. It seemed to him that Syrn was getting stronger and stronger, which was expected since he was the leader of the demi-humans.

He then opened the descriptions of the two upgrade cards. He felt that they should be extremely powerful, considering that even the smallest intelligence upgrade he wanted to do would cost him a little over a hundred WE.

[Race intelligence upgrade card, Grade: C]

[Description: Once used improves selected race's intelligence by a noticeable amount.]

[Race bloodline upgrade card, Grade: C]

[Description: Once used improves selected race's bloodline quality and potential by a noticeable amount.]

They were the same thing, only difference was the thing the improved. But you could already guess  their power just by seeing the grade.

C grade items were already really rare as even some B or A class adventures used them since higher grade items were extremely rare.

There is only about 300 S grade items discovered and each one has qualities that normal people cannot even imagine. It is often speculated that there are items even more powerful and graded as SS and SSS grade, however such items were never found.

Eamon then directly without more thought used the upgrade cards. A white light emerged from both of them as they slowly disappeared.

After waiting for a few seconds nothing else happened, Eamon even started doubting that it even did something, but then a system notification interupted him.

[Ding! The intelligence of demi-humans has been greatly improved.]

[Ding! The bloodline of demi-humans has been greatly improved.]

Eamon finally realized that the effects of the cards had been applied. He quickly checked the two villages to see the impact.

Syrn and his party had already returned to the village of Syrn and were celebrating their victory and the completion of the creator's task.

Suddenly, each of them felt like their heads had become much clearer. Their thoughts flowed more smoothly, and their sentences became more complex and revealing of their intentions.

While they were observing these changes and wondering what was happening, their blood started to feel like it was boiling. Their speed increased, and their monster body parts became much more enhanced. Previous sharp claws now resembled razors with the durability of steel.

Syrn's wings seemed much stronger as his bones throughout his body became more durable and robust. His eyesight and hearing significantly improved, as did his overall body function.

Each demi-human could feel these changes. Once everything stopped changing, every demi-human started kneeling and thanking the creator for his blessing.

Eamon observed everything with a gleeful smile.

He felt that the improvements weren't just a simple 1 + 1 = 2, but rather a qualitative improvement. He immediately opened the description of demi-humans.

[Race of Demi-humans, Grade: E-

Descriptions: With intelligence of an human teenager they are able to continuously improve their technology and buildings. Their powerful bloodline gives them perfect match of human and monster characteristics which gives them high explosive power. Each demi-human has different characteristics and bloodline potential that can be brought out using different methods thus improving their strenght.

Current maximal bloodline potential: D ]

(Means maximum grade that a demi-human can reach using their own power.)

Eamon certainly thought that now the demi-humans were much stronger than before. If they were to venture inside a dungeon again, it would likely be a massacre. Eamon then looked at the 25 mana stones that he had received as a reward.

These mana stones were important materials for mages and blacksmiths. Eamon could also use them himself to enhance his items. Although these mana stones were of the lowest quality, he could still use them to improve his crafting mastery. Eamon felt that since his crafting mastery had reached level 8, he had gained more control over Eldoria and its rules.

'Maybe once I reach something like level 10 mastery in crafting, I might unlock some other privileges in the Creator's system.'

Eamon had this thought and set his goal to reach level 10 mastery as soon as possible. However, he looked at the mana stones in his inventory and frowned a little.

Maintaining a shop that wasn't very profitable was not easy, as he often had to save money just to eat enough. So, he wondered if he should sell some of the mana stones, as they were quite valuable.

Even though it was a grade F mana stone, the lowest quality, it was still not something Eamon could normally afford to experiment with. The price of a grade F mana stone was around 200 dollars each, which was quite pricey.

Eamon left the world of Eldoria and withdrew 10 mana stones from his inventory. Each mana stone was about the size of a coin and shone slightly with a blue color while maintaining a gray shade.

Just by their appearance, color, and size, one could tell that they were the lowest-grade mana stones, but surprisingly, the mana within them was relatively clear without many impurities. However, the quantity of mana was still extremely small, almost unusable.

'Maybe if I extracted the pure mana from each stone, it could yield a higher-grade stone, but who knows? However, it seems that the mana stones from rewards will be mostly quite pure like these ones,' Eamon thought while rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

He slowly left his house while contemplating the development route he should choose for the population in Eldoria.

'There are many ways I could let them evolve. One of them is the route of monsters, where I would continue to improve their bloodline until they gain power similar to the monsters. However, this seems like it would limit their potential depending on the monster bloodline they have. Maybe allow them to use mana and become wizards?'

It was quite frustrating for Eamon since he knew that the stronger Eldoria was, the stronger he could become. Maybe he could use the current WE he had to improve his stats.

However, Eamon was still cautious about what he would spend his WE on, as he knew how powerful it was.

After some time, Eamon finally arrived at his destination: the Awakener's trading house. The trading house was one of the busiest places in the city, where awakeners came to buy or sell items and materials. Every day, millions of dollars flowed through this house.

Eamon entered through the main entrance, looking around at the busy scene. Awakeners were clad in massive steel armors with mana stones imbued in them. Others wore woven silk robes with unique arcane patterns, their staffs often as big as their bodies and made of various materials, including black skulls and fingers. These mages had colors representing their main elemental affinity, or so Eamon guessed from their appearances.

Many of these awakeners had satisfied expressions, likely pleased with their trades. However, when Eamon entered, he noticed that some awakeners looked at him unkindly, with disgusted faces. They easily recognized him as an F-class awakener.

F-class awakeners were often seen as useless, and even some higher-graded awakeners were compared unfavorably to them. Such comparisons led to open bullying and, sometimes, even accidents that resulted in the deaths of F-class awakeners, with no consequences.

This had made Eamon's life miserable, and the only thing he could do was open a shop to provide for these awakeners. However, now that Eamon had the Creator's system, he didn't want to be oppressed any longer. He hoped that one day, people would look up to him and admire his power. He knew that he would face discrimination for some time while he remained an F-class awaker.

He approached one of the desks where a big, muscular man with a massive scar on his cheek sat. His desk was empty, and he wore a grumpy expression, clearly not in the mood for bargaining.

"Hello, I have some mana stones I want to sell," Eamon said, taking out all 10 mana stones from his bag.

The man smiled briefly but then returned to his grumpy demeanor. "I see, 10 Grade F+ mana stones. How many do you want to sell?"

Eamon was slightly surprised that the man referred to the mana stones as F+. But that meant more money for him, so he didn't dispute the statement.

"I would like to sell all 10 mana stones."

"Since you're selling all ten, I can offer you $170 for each mana stone, for a total of $1700."

"$170 per stone is too low. How about $250 each?" Eamon countered, not satisfied with the initial offer.

"I can give you $200."

"$240?" Eamon lowered his price slightly.

"$220 dollars, final offer," the man said, clearly unwilling to negotiate further.

"Deal!" Eamon immediately accepted the offer, which was already $20 more than he had expected. He was satisfied with his earnings.

Eamon provided the man with his bank details, and moments later, he received his payment.

A notification arrived on his mobile phone, notifying him of the transaction. He then gave the man the mana stones.

"My name is Marcus; it was a pleasure dealing with you," the man said as Eamon was already leaving. However, Eamon still heard him.

Eamon smiled and thought, 'So, he isn't just a bad guy, I guess.'

With a slight smile, he returned to his shop, where he began experimenting with the remaining mana stones.
