[Ajamu POV]
There I stood, with Obito's shadow kneeling before me in its ethereal form. His body had been restored, and both his eyes were intact, bringing my total number of shadows with Mangekyō Sharingan to 313.
Ajamu: "Rise. Your name will be Obito. Your first mission is to retrieve Madara's body and bring it to the battlefield where you perished. I'll meet you there once I'm done here."
Obito: "As you command, my lord." With that, he activated his eyes and vanished.
I held Obito's Mangekyō eyes in my hand, contemplating whether I could gain his space-time abilities. However, a system message clarified that I couldn't possess two Mangekyō skills simultaneously. Instead, if I chose to use them, I'd unlock the Space element, allowing me to create custom space-based techniques. This was the perfect moment to explain how my powers worked—I didn't rely on pre-existing jutsu or skillsets like most shinobi. My abilities stemmed from raw mana, which I shaped into desired effects. As long as I understood the concept and had sufficient mana, the system would recognize it and turn it into a usable skill.
For instance, when other ninjas used elemental techniques, they were essentially unlocking the ability to manipulate those elements. Similarly, when I experimented with lightning during my early days—covering my Susanoo and weapons with electricity—it wasn't the same technique I'd observed others using. Instead, I adapted the principle to suit my needs.
Taking inspiration from this, I decided to test my newfound Space element. Focusing on the sensation I experienced when teleporting to my shadows, I attempted to replicate the effect within the confines of my courtyard. It didn't take long before I successfully created a new teleportation skill, enabling me to instantly travel anywhere within my line of sight.
My efforts were interrupted by applause. Turning, I saw Gaku and Miko watching me, having arrived after delivering Obito's body.
Gaku: "Great work, Ajamu-sama."
Ajamu: "Thank you, Gaku and Miko. Now, please summon both Itachi and Sasuke. There's something important I need to discuss with them, and they'll witness my upcoming fight with Madara. They must see firsthand just how formidable the man hailed as the second strongest ninja—second only to the Sage of Six Paths—truly is."
Gaku bowed respectfully. "Right away, my lord." He sent a mental command to one of the shadows guarding his sons, instructing them to come to the courtyard.
Minutes later, the two boys appeared, bowing deeply before me. I gestured for them to rise, and the moment they looked into my eyes, they froze. This was their first time seeing me with these eyes—or any eyes remotely resembling the Sharingan.
Sasuke, ever curious at seven years old, spoke up first: "What are those? Is this a Sharingan?"
Itachi answered calmly: "No, they're far beyond a mere Sharingan."
Smiling warmly, I replied: "You're partially correct, Sasuke. These aren't Sharingan. This is the Rinnegan… though not entirely, given the influence of the Tenseigan's power. But that's not why I've called you two here today. First, I want to share the history of chakra with you."
With that, I cast a genjutsu using my eyes, immersing them in visions of Kaguya, her children, the origins of chakra, the tailed beasts, and the looming threat posed by the Ōtsutsuki clan. Both boys were visibly shaken, though Itachi maintained better composure than Sasuke. I gave them a moment to process the overwhelming information.
Eventually, Itachi broke the silence: "Why are you showing us this?"
Pausing briefly, I responded: "The truth is, I don't plan to stay in this village—or even this world—for much longer. Sooner or later, I'll depart, and the rest of my people will follow me. However, you two will remain here, as this is now your home. For that reason, you'll need to grow stronger to protect yourselves and this world."
I allowed my words to sink in before continuing: "From today onward, both of you will undergo rigorous training. By the time I leave, I'll awaken your full potentials. Itachi, you'll possess the Rinnegan in both eyes. Sasuke, you'll wield the Rinne-Sharingan in one eye and the Mangekyō in the other."
I waited patiently for their reactions. Sasuke, being the younger and more impulsive of the two, exclaimed excitedly: "This is so cool! Getting these eyes sounds amazing! But wait… are my parents leaving with you too?" He glanced at Gaku and Miko, who nodded solemnly. Instantly, Sasuke erupted into a tantrum, protesting loudly about being left behind.
Meanwhile, Itachi remained silent, deep in thought. Having grasped the gravity of the dangers ahead, he contemplated ways to safeguard his younger brother. He understood who I was—and that his parents and the entire clan would follow my lead without question.
Just then, I received a notification from Obito, informing me that he'd arrived at the designated location with Madara's body and asking if he should retrieve me. I instructed him that it wasn't necessary, signaling to Gaku and Miko that it was time to depart.
They nodded in understanding, calming their children as I addressed the boys once more: "Now, both of you will accompany me to meet Madara Uchiha."
Their shock was palpable. After all, we were talking about Madara—the legendary Uchiha hailed as one of the founders of Konoha and considered one of the strongest shinobi in history.
Sasuke: "What do you mean? Didn't Madara die a long time ago?"
Ajamu: "He did die—but not that long ago. And who said I couldn't bring back the dead?"
Approaching them, I placed a hand on each of their shoulders. Gaku and Miko retreated into my shadow as I activated (Teleport to Shadow) . Moments later, we arrived at the battlefield, standing before Obito and a coffin.
Positioning myself in front of the coffin, I signaled everyone to stand behind me. With a wave of my hand, the lid opened, revealing Madara's armored body—just as he'd appeared during the Fourth Shinobi War.
Kneeling beside his corpse, I examined his empty eye sockets. Using my Sage powers, I regenerated his eyes. However, these wouldn't be Rinnegan; they'd manifest as Mangekyō Sharingan instead.
//Much like Naruto did with Kakashi when Madara stole his Sharingan, regenerating Kakashi's normal eye since he wasn't an Uchiha. But Madara is an Uchiha, so when his eyes regenerate, they naturally form Sharingan. Given that he already possessed the Mangekyō, they upgraded accordingly—a process tied to the user's chakra and mindset.//
