Merlin began to get bored, he couldn't just sit back and wait for something to happen while the world was still in turmoil. And now there was more to their lives than they originally thought. As he manifested his clothing back on, he began to feel something nostalgic as he looked down at the planet. Morgan then snapped him out of his trance as she was fully clothed and read to go back.

"Come on dude. Let's not overthink this. We're not gonna get shit done standing here. We have to get this done and get the Saints back, along with your group of sexy vampire beasts. So let's get to it." she said as she flew down with G and Shikom. Merlin rubbed his head smirking as he flew down with them, landing on what seemed to be solid pavement. The sky seemed a bit more clear of the thick clouds that blanketed the sky, and the night sky began to show. Merlin looked around and saw his house, and smiled that it was still there, and then saw his clothes in the mirror. "Hmmm. Think that I have an idea of a new outfit that really says me. You guys go on ahead, I'll be with you in a bit." he said, with everyone moving on to look around the city. They saw that there were people already moving in, Spirons and Beastmen alike. Shikom looked at a very tranquil spot, illuminated by the moon and starlight, and thought back to his training days.

"You know, if you want to tell everyone then you should." Rikusa said. Shikom was a bit embarrassed that Rikusa was reading his mind, but then his attention was drawn to Merlin walking over. His hair was a bit longer and reached to his shoulders, the top slicked back into a ponytail. His glasses had a devilish design, but one of his eyes was a crimson red to show that it was his magic eye. He wore a black ruffled crop top, with the left sleeve reaching down to his wrist and the top of it extending to the top of his middle finger. His other arm was a beast's arm, and his claws were a bright pink. He also wore tight shorts that showed his hips, and reached down to his knees, where his legs were bestial. He also had a half skirt wrapped around his waist. He also let a fang hang playfully out of his mouth. "Well, how do I look you guys? Am I beautiful?" he asked. Morgan lightly fanned herself. "Devilishly, you incubus beast. Trying to charm the boys to the yard are ya?" she playfully asked. Merlin giggled and looked around the city, but Shikom couldn't take his eyes off him. He couldn't form words, he was unable to so much as utter a single noise. They all met up with Codiza after a few minutes of walking.

"Ya made it. And fashionably too, gnarly. The network here is gonna be mega charged. But I have to complete the Synchro Connection. But I assume you have questions." he said while binary code was circling his head rapidly. Morgan asked first. "What's with the whole "writing our lives out" thing?" Codiza was stunned for a bit, a guilty look on his face. But he ended up giving an answer anyways.

"Okay, story time. When the seven of us realized the true extent of our powers, we turned to the one thing we all loved: engaging stories. So naturally we sorta rewrote reality into what we thought was good enough for people to thrive. The Spires, the towns and psychics who are actually being a massive help for me right now. Then there's the entire thing with the Traitors, but eventually we felt that it wasn't right to manipulate every single thing. That's why we gave people Authorities when they beat us. But now, we can't even return to that anymore. We can't manipulate every law, but the laws on our personal domains." he explained. G started thinking, then asked. "The personal domain. Is that the true nature of our magicks?" Codiza nodded in confirmation.

"Every magick technique you learned, it all just strengthens your domain. We learned to do it after finishing this story about some teen thrusted into a world of-" he was cut off, sensing someone familiar coming at him at a rapid speed. Merlin summoned his scythe, recognizing the energy. It was clear he had an old grudge to settle. The being made of shadow matter stopped a few feet away from him, a wide white grin on his face. "Well well. If it isn't the little runt that stole my spear. Hope the reminder of watching that pathetic lizard die was..." he couldn't finish. Merlin just looked at him with a serious expression, then suddenly ended up behind him. The exchange of slashes was lightning fast, but the shadow being just regenerated.

Morgan, G, Shikom, and Magna went to attack it, not using their weapons, but just their fists. The shadow was only able to defend as the attacks were overwhelming him. "Damn brats...! How are they making me stay on the defense?! That's it, they-" he was cut off again with a spear going through his head. He felt a corrosive energy ripping him apart, and the one holding the spear was Merlin, a wicked smile on his face as he caused the spear to shatter with just his grip. Morgan clapped as she grabbed a fragment of the spear, and then swallowed it whole. Her hair turning a dark purple, and butterfly wings growing around her ears. "I'd say I was due for a makeover. Let me slip into something more comfortable. No peaking." she said as she covered herself in a veil of void energy.

After a few minutes, she emerged. Her hair was longer and purple, blending into black towards the bottom. She had a star like marking around her right eye, and she had black nails. She wore a red turtleneck crop top, and had a mini skirt around shorts. She wore laceless shoes, and going up her legs and arms was very fine fur. "Now this is so more me. I can't wait to show off a bit more." she said. Everyone clapped for her.

Meanwhile, a Traitor had been watching. He spawned a small hoop to spin around his finger and smirked while he held a Joker card.
