Silas turned around and he sheathed his blade and looked at the people behind him that were stunned by his power.
'Hm? Judging by their aura they are just spirit masters. Hm... Now that I think about it, I haven't met any spirit grandmasters so far. Except for the king of Avalon who seemed to be even greater than that spirit duke...' Silas remembered the handsome man that flew on a carriage.
'His aura was powerful. He is surely a high level grandmaster... Or a rank higher than that.' Silas thought and then he walked towards the stunned trio.
"Hey, are you guys also players?" He asked and the girl there was stunned by his looks.
She had short black hair which was pinned behind her deep brown eyes gave her another level of cuteness.
"Ah, yes. We were having a hard time dealing with that scaled panther." The boy in front said as he put his broad sword behind him and another boy walked forward.
He had silver hair and black eyes and he seemed to have the strongest aura amongst the group.
"My name is Silver, this is Lara and Prince," The slender silver haired boy said as he pointed to the girl and the boy holding a great sword.
Silas nodded to them.
"Are you a high ranking player? You were so strong and cool, I didn't even see you when you slashed the panther," Prince said to him and Silas chuckled as he scratched the back of his head.
"It's just a technique I learnt," He said with a smile and then Prince squinted his eyes at him.
"Of course it is." Prince sighed as he shook his head.
"How about we stick together? We have to go and submit the body of the scaled panther to the one who gave us the quest," Lara said as she gave him a warm smile and then he agreed.
Due to being branded as trash when he first entered the game, Silas wasn't able to play it normally or even have fun and just spent time plotting against the arrogant cultivators.
So now joining this group of players won't be that bad.
Prince walked forward and stored the beast body into a ring and Silas gazed at the ring with a smile as he also got one of those a while ago.
They then moved towards the empire.
"So how long have you guys been playing the game?" Silas asked them and they all looked at him.
"Apparently three months now. We would've been a lot stronger if we could just enter a sect." Lara sighed in frustration.
"How can joining a cultivator school help you grow stronger?" Silas asked with a raised brow.
"Really bro...?" Silver stared at him with a blank face and Silas smiled.
"The sects sponsor their students with resources and means to gain treasures. A lot of the top players are in sects now. Even the top player has ascended to second heaven," Prince said and then they all looked helpless.
"Don't worry, we'll get there surely," Silas said and the others smiled at his positive energy.
Upon entering the empire the guys went over to a very tall building which seemed like a hotel as there were a lot of wealthy looking cultivators here.
Silas couldn't help but look around in astonishment. The building was well decorated and the walls were blue with golden painted lines weaving around the walls.
The trio went to the person and he had to wait for them to come back out.
'Third land is close. I should probably go and visit that family.' Silas thought and then after a while the players came down with smiles on their faces.
"Well... We got our reward. How about we head towards the forest to get some beast cores for cultivation?" Silver asked and then they all sighed.
"Why do you like to always go out and hunt? We should get some strong techniques from the Cultivators store first, what if we meet another powerful beast again?" Lara said and Prince only chuckled as he smiled at her.
"You're right, Lara," Silver said and Silas only smiled at their behavior.
'So there's a place where techniques are being sold?' Silas thought with a smirk and he wondered what he could possibly find there that'll be greater than the techniques of the great demon Silas which he was playing as.
"I'm in for that. Let's go," Silas said and Lara smiled as they made their way to the store.
From the window of the inn a beautiful woman with long braided black hair stared at the players that left with an expressionless face. She had beautiful blue eyes and a delicate face and her aura was strong.
"It's strange, the treasure always appears but dissapears a while after, we still don't even know what it is," Another man said from behind her and she turned to him.
"Well, we have gained the scales of the panther and and cleansing fruit. We could just focus on getting the water of tranquil focus from the spring falls," She said and the man sat on a chair.
He has light blue hair which was short and he looked very handsome with his blue eyes and the lady looked at the tall man amongst the group of players who had a strange aura.
"We better leave soon. The both of us would finally be dukes when we will ascend to second heaven," The guy said and then he stored the body of the descaled panther in his ring to dispose of it later.
...
'Woah.' Silas examined the so called shop.
It was over fifty metres high with a lot of floors and then Silas smiled as he wondered if this what was they called a store.
They went in and the place was even more impressive than the inn that they were at a while ago with even more detailed decorations and shelves made out of transparent glass.
"Welcome to the Grand library of techniques." A woman standing beside the door greeted them with a bow.
They walked passed her and Silas saw the shelves of techniques arranged in order and then he followed the others.
"Ah, that's right. We didn't ask if you had that much coins to enter the higher floors,"Lara said as she turned back to Silas who only raised a brow.
"So they have requirements to go to where the more powerful techniques are?" Silas asked and Prince nodded.
"Is a million coins enough?" Silas asked and the players in front of him were shocked that he had a million.
