Pirates

[Calculating rewards…]

[New skill learned!]

[<Iron Body> (Lvl. 1)]

[New skill learned!]

[<Eternal Fist > (Lvl. MAX)]

Quickly pulling up the description of both skills, Genji began to read the descriptions with a wide smile on his face.

[<Iron Body> (Lvl. 1)]

[ - A strong body to defend against anything! Whether it be bullets, pressure, shockwaves, or even Instant Death! Can attain an invulnerable body that can defend against anything! (Must be higher leveled for stuff like this to be prevented.)]

[<Eternal Fist> (MAX)]

[ - Save up all the damage one takes and send it back through one punch. Saved Damage: 0.00]

Seeing what was shown to him, Genji really felt a bit disappointed since this meant that he would need to start getting hit in order to pull off something like the Eternal Fist.

And the Iron Body, no matter how Genji thought about it, all he could think of was Lin Fan who went through various hardships just to increase the defense of his body. Including throwing himself inside his own furnace.

Sighing, Genji scratched the back of his head and went back to training his Martial arts.

Since he won't arrive at the Fire Nation until two days later, Genji decided to devote these two days to training his martial arts and meditating.

Suki listened to what Genji had said earlier in the boat and curiously went over to Oyaji's house to see why he was yelling earlier.

Before she even got close to the Village Chief's house, Suki found many of the villagers surrounding the Village Chief's house with surprised expressions.

The little kids were giggling and ran away laughing.

Even more curious now, Suki forced her way through many of the villagers before seeing a man looking at everyone through squinted eyes.

"Go away evwyone! Nothing to swee here!"

The weird man with reddish spots on his body and swollen lips and eyelids shook his big hand and tried sending everyone away.

Suki's eyes widened and she looked at Oyaji in shock, not believing that the person before her was the Village Chief.

"Pfft…"

Suki quickly ran away with a smile on her after seeing what Genji had done to Oyaji.

'Looks like Genji finally retaliate after staying quiet after ask these days of being hated by Oyaji,' thought Suki with a sweet smile on her face as she headed over to the Training Hall.

'Will I ever see him again?'

Wearing her Kyoshi armor and rallying up the Kyoshi Warriors, Suki was giving out orders.

"Stay alert in these next few days. We need to look out for pirates after receiving a large amount of items from the merchants!"

The Kyoshi warriors quickly spread out and hid in the many outposts they had around the island. Staying hidden and keeping an eye out, Suki and the Kyoshi warriors got into position like many other times and kept their eyes out for pirates or any other types of criminals.

"Appa! You're finally growing back some hair!"

Aang was yelling happily at seeing small white hairs slowly appear from where Appa's hair was burnt before. Luckily, Appa wasn't burnt that badly and it was mainly his hair.

Luckily for Appa, he only received mild burns and his vitality as a huge beast was really strong.

"I'm proud of you Appa," said Katara as she rolled up her sleeping bag and loaded it on Appa's huge saddle.

Aang and the other two had already visited the Air Temple Aang was from and was now just traveling around to have some fun.

100 years changed many things and the places Aang wanted to visit were one of those places that changed. His excitement hasn't died down however.

"Haha! Let's head to the next place!"

Happily jumping up and down with the help of his Airbending, Aang excitedly ran around.

Katara smiled and shook her head. Whilst looking at Aang run around, Katara suddenly remembered the golden eyed Firebender.

Blushing, Katara shook her head with furrowed eyebrows, 'I hope I don't see him again…'

"Katara! Are you ready to visit the next fun area?!" Aang asked as he approached Katara with bright eyes.

Giggling a little, Katara nodded and said, "Yeah, I'm ready."

Snore!

"Ughhh! You guys never let me get some sleep," groaned Sokka as he woke up and looked over at Aang and Katara who were looking at him with smiles on their faces.

"Come on Sokka! You can't waste the entire day sleeping," said Aang with a smile as he jumped on Appa's head.

Sokka groaned and stood up with an annoyed look on his face as he rolled up his sleeping bag and threw it in Appa's saddle.

"That's the spirit, Sokka," said Katara, joining Aang in his energetic actions.

Sokka sighed and smiled a little, "Let's get going then, to the next fun area…"

Katara smiled and got on the saddle whilst Aang sat on Appa's head and said, "Let's go Appa, Yip yip…"

Gruuughh…

Appa groaned and he lifted himself off the ground needle flying into the sky.

Looking down from the side of Appa, Aang noticed a Fire Nation ship and a blank expression on his face.

"What's wrong Aang?" asked Katara after noticing Aang looking down at the sea where a Fire Nation ship was sailing.

Aang's ears twitched and he lifted his head and turned to look at Katara with a small smile, "Haha, nothing. I was just surprised to see so many Fire Nation ships in the sea."

Katara nodded and said, "Ever since the Fire Nation had begun to wage war on the other nations, it had maintained supremacy in the sea. The only other Nation that could somewhat rival it was the Earth Nation. I'm not too sure about the Northern Water Tribes because I haven't heard anything about them."

Aang nodded dumbly a little and remembered back to his past when he disappeared and last saw Monk Gyatso.

A brief look of sadness crossed his face when he looked away from Katara and tried to regain his cheerfulness shortly afterward.

"Let's head towards the Horse Monkey plains!"

Somewhere in the sea, a Fire Nation ship was slowly sailing across the sea.

Zuko was meditating in his room like always and had a look of frustration on his face.

"Where is he?"

Zuko mumbled after stopping his meditation and looking at the burning candles in front of him.

After a week of waiting, Zuko finally began to lose his patience. He had been waiting for any word from the Fire Nation or from his uncle that they had finally received a letter from Genji.

At this point, Zuko was worrying if Genji had died. An honorable warrior who helped him to stop the Avatar. He had many questions for him too, especially the blue fire that Genji uses.

"Did he… die?"

Zuko frowned, he knew that soldiers dying is a common occurrence, but this particular soldier was working under him. Now that this person has died, he felt terrible since it felt like he had lost some honor.

The honor of leading a group of soldiers.

"Will I lose even this?"

Clenching his hands, Zuko closed his eyes and tried to calm down his feelings. He went back to meditating only to stop a while later.

"Argh! I'll just get some training down…"

Standing up, Zuko left his room after turning off the candles and heading over to the deck of the ship where he saw his uncle playing a board game with some soldiers.

Zuko furrowed his eyebrows but didn't say anything and just started training.

Pshhh!!

Fwoosh!

With every kick and punch, a burst of powerful flames erupted from Zuko's feet and fists.

Some soldiers nearby were shocked and quickly left the deck and waited a safe distance away. They watched on as Zuko Firebended.

Iroh looked at Zuko for a second before focusing back on his game and defeating the soldier he was playing against.

"Haha, fair game young man," said Iroh as he chuckled and rubbed his belly.

Poosh!

"Uncle! How's it going tracking the Avatar?"

After venting his anger doing his Firebending, Zuko turned to his uncle and approached him with a serious expression on his face.

"Hm, not too well nephew," said Iroh as he looked at his nephew with a serious look in his eyes. "I seem to have misplaced my winning piece."

Zuko frowned and let out a sigh before turning to leave.

"The Avatar's tracks are all over the place. It's like he's a master at evading the Fire Nation."

Iroh spoke up after seeing his nephew about to leave and made Zuko pause in his tracks before continuing on forward.

Returning to his room, Zuko went back to meditating after feeling like he had calmed himself down. Though, after thinking about how the Avatar was evading then, Zuko couldn't help but frown.

'He's just a kid… rather than being a master at evading us, he's running around clueless…' thought Zuko as he took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.

Seconds passed and Zuko snapped once more.

"Gaaarrhh! I'll go train some more!"

***

Waking up to yelling the next morning, Genji woke up and tried to listen in to what was happening.

"Hahaha! Capture everyone and take all the supplies and valuables!"

The instant Genji heard that, he frowned and quickly brought out his staff. Holding it tightly, Genji stood to the side of the door and waited patiently for someone to enter.

"Gahaha…"

Soon, hearing the sound of footsteps and laughter, Genji noticed the shadows under his door.

With narrowed eyes and a steel-like grip on his staff, Genji watched on as two pirates entered his room.

Bam!

Swiftly moving, Genji moved the staff in his hand and slammed it into the neck of one of the pirates.

Crack!

Breaking the neck of one of the pirates, effectively killing a pirate, Genji remembered that his Power was now at 9 and he was twice as strong compared to a normal person.

[Ding! Level 1 Stupid Two-Bit Pirate killed! Experience +2]

After remembering his strength, Genji quickly threw his staff into his Storage and sent a punch over to the pirate who finally reacted to his partner being killed.

"Damn! Who the hell are you?!"

Pulling out a sword from his waist, the pirate moved quickly and sliced towards Genji.

"Hmph!"

Genji snorted after seeing the attack made by the pirate.

Because his Martial Arts and Poleman skills were both at Adept, Genji knew what to do and quickly dodged and sharply hit the wrist of the pirate.

Cling!

The sword fell to the ground and the pirate winced. He furrowed his eyebrows and quickly punched over at Genji after recovering a bit.

Seeing the fist flying towards him, Genji smirked and was about to dodge until he remembered about his two new skills.

'Right! Now's the perfect chance to level them up!'

Quickly putting up the best defense his Adept Martial Artist skill could give him, Genji felt the pirate's fist hit his arm.

Ba!

[Ding! Skill level up!]

[Ding! Skill level up!]

[<Iron Body> (Lvl. 3)]

'Alright! Time to make him punch me some more!'

"Argh…" feigning some pain, Genji glared at the pirate. "An old lady would hit better than you!"

"Huh!"

The pirate snarled and quickly sent punch after punch at Genji, hitting him over and over in anger.

"Ah! Gah!"

[Ding! Skill level up!]

[<Acting> (Lvl. 17)]

Seeing his acting skill go up, Genji continued on until his <Iron Body> no longer leveled up.

[<Iron Body> (Lvl. 10)]

At just level ten, Genji wasn't feeling any pain. Not just that, he could hear small thuds every now and then like if he actually had an Iron Body.

"Guh!"

Since he was no longer receiving any levels from this pirate, Genji slowly brought down his hands and looked at the pirate with a smirk.

"What the hell are you…" muttered the pirate in fear after finally realizing that his punches weren't hurting the man before him.

"Me? That's none of your business," said Genji with a smirk as he punched out at the pirate with his fist.

Bang!

With his fists hitting the pirate right in the chest, the pirate was sent flying back. The pirates coughed up blood and looked up at Genji with a fearful expression.

"Pl-please! Let me… live!" said the pirate with a trembling voice.

Genji shook his head with a smile and approached the pirate slowly until he was right in front of the pirate. Bringing up his foot, Genji stomped down at the trembling pirate.

Puchi!
