'Kids' 'Kids' both groups that are called The Secret Order and The Guardians thought at the same time, after they witnessed what happened just moments ago.

"Sorry, okay, I am sorry! I understood everything!" I was out of breathe when Kiara stopped her assault.

"Next time you won't get away with a simple warning" Kiara said, expression cold, looking down on me.

"Yeah, yeah sure.." I then sat down in exhaustion 'If that was just a warning, what would be the real deal.... urgh... it's not every day you get a chance to dodge lightning strikes...would rather not really'

[Shock resistance level: 7 -> 8]

'well I guess that's at least something..' I thought with a smirk.

"Anyways, forget that, what else do you know about that temple?" I scratched my head.

"..what I know, is that it's near the border of our Laxoca Empire and the Ezaliton Empire-"

"So near?" I asked kind of surprised, because the capital is just a week away from the border on foot, anyway I looked at it, it didn't make sense at all.

"Yes, and more to the North lays the Tivaria Empire, although in the past there were 4 Empires with Ezaliton being the strongest and Laxoca, Tivaria and Soumetsu being equal in strength and rivaling the strength of Ezaliton-" Kiara started to teach me as if I were her student in the History class, but I interrupted her.

"Yeah Yeah, Ezaliton then lost a lot of its territory and power, while Soumetsu was destroyed completely and the territory divided by Laxoca and Tivaria 20 years ago before signing a peace treaty or something like that and also ending the great war.... I know all that, but I asked you about the temple Kiara" I continued and ended her speech, also ending up kind of lecturing her a bit at the end.

"Did anybody ever tell you, you must respect older people than you?" she asked "you do remember that I am 8 years older than you right?"

"..granny.." I mumbled

"What was that?" a vein popped out on Kiaras face when she heard what Kiran said.

"Nothing... But tell me, how am I supposed to respect a stalker that is also behaving like a child most of the time?" I asked her with a genuine expression that seemed to made Kiara even more mad at me.

After a few more playful exchanges of words and fists she told me everything she knew about the Temple a few kilometres ahead of us, that could be seen pretty easily, because of us standing on a higher ground near the forest and the Temple being so huge.

"Well one can wonder why this temple is even called a 'Temple', Temples are built to worship a god or even a few gods, but this was a Temple of, one of the many prior existing demonic Cults, which was known as «The Demon Possessing Cult». Why Demon Possessing? It's because they worshipped some kind of Demon god, yeah exactly, a god, from who they borrowed demonic power that allowed them to fight higher order Existences than they were themselves..." Kiara looked at me strangely for a moment which went unnoticed by me and then she continued:

"Although it might be a demon god, it doesn't necessarily must be a bad existence and People like my grand grand granddad, who then was the Emperor of Laxoca, let them be and let them worship their god, even though the God was of demonic Origins, until they, TheDemon Possessing Cult, went mad with power and started attacking everyone in sight, also destroying a whole kingdom that was the nearest to their temple, the Kingdoms location is unknown right now, because it happened about a thousand years ago.."

"A thousand years ago? but then... how could your great great grandad even live so long ago... wait... I am super confused right now..." I felt my head starting to hurt.

"When you are of a higher Order your lifespan also increases, take my father for example, he is 351 years of age right now." Kiara smiled and blinked at me.

".....Wut?" I blinked back at her. "HOW?!"

"Also, never wondered why your parents look like they just stepped out of their teenager years despite being a bit over 50 years old?" Kiara continued.

'shit, I never thought about that....' My eyes grew wider.

"Yeah... anyways let me continue" Kiara then said, "The Next day all the cultists and their methods were blown away from the face of the earth, with only their temple staying as it is to this day, because nobody wanted to destroy a temple belonging to a god, be it a demon or not, it was still a god."

"Okay Okay, so the cultists are gone, their methods are gone ..what exactly are we supposed to explore?" Kiran asked her.

"I... don't know?" Kiara blinked her eyelashes at him quickly. "Somebody commissioned this quest because they wanted something investigated there, but there wasn't told what exactly. And thats why I told you are crazy for accepting this commission just like that without knowing all the information that is needed."

"Then why did you follow me you dumb stalker?" I asked her genuinely without wanting to get her mad again, but unfortunately...

After another little fight we decided to go to the temple the next day because it was already getting dark. I used my elements to make a fireplace where we made some food out of the meat of the few beasts we left after killing, and then I made a place to sleep.

I let Kiara sleep first while I guarded the place. I looked at the currently starry sky wondering if the planet, that I reincarnated from, exists somewhere out there behind the stars.
