He can probably damage her but not enough to inflict a great injury.

He sat on the bed and sighed.

This world is full of powerful people, she already gave me a feeling of hopelessness while she's in her basic state what would it be if she's in a combat state could I even stand a chance against her.

He rolled on the comfortable bed.

Kai opened his palm natural mana began gathering on it then a paper, pin and a pen was created.

He wrote something on the paper and stumped it in front of the door on the outside then closed the door.

Chloe and Ryuu read at the same time, behind them was Tessa with a pouty expression.

"Sir Kai is a dummy…"

She said as she returned back to her room slamming the door shut.

Chloe and Ryuu look at each other the same competitive glint in their eyes we're still present but a bit lesser now.

"We should give him some space."

Ryuu suggested as she slowly walked down the staircase.

Kai had already translated the world's common language during his conversation with Tessa when they were on a journey to Orario.

He wasn't educated by his slave parents but that doesn't mean he didn't learn a thing from them.

The matter about his parents, for now he put it on the back of his mind, to begin with that matter isn't urgent unless a unique circumstance is to arise.

He does have strength but there are too many factors that are needed to take into account.

One prior issue is that after saving them where would he leave them.

He can't possibly take them in.

He also can't just leave them in some random road and village, right.

Would the villagers present there even accept them knowing beforehand they were previously slaves.

They might get accepted but wouldn't they be isolated from the rest.

Moreover, in that illegal slave farm his parents aren't the only slaves present.

Even simple communing might turn out impossible.

He can't just possibly leave them behind.

Even him now can only stay in an inn and rescuing his parents without a proper plan before hands would just make things complicated and problematic.

Done analyzing the situation Kai felt all tired all of a sudden.

He sighed as he looked up at the wooden ceiling.

It was early in the morning and there were still no customers and the number of employees was quite many.

"What is wrong with those two?"

A waitress asked as she pointed at Ryuu and Chloe giving each other a glance from time to time.

Imaginary sparks of lightning clashing from time to time.

"I don't know, nya. The time I woke up they are already behaving strangely, nya."

Anya a waitress replied with a yawn.

In the kitchen of the pub, mama Mia passed by and after hearing the contents of their conversation she joined in.

"Those two are in love."

Mama Mia said as if it was the most obvious thing.

Her simple words brought a complete silence in the pub all eyes were on her, followed by the demi human ears perking up.

They look at Mama Mia as if she just said the most ridiculous joke they ever heard.

They can understand if it were only Chloe but Ryuu.

Having just changed into a tavern uniform Runoa who happened to hear the conversation joined in.

"Eh, Runoa your late as always, nya."

"So who do you think is the unfortunate man that has captured the heart of our stubborn elf."

Everyone's eyes were drawn back to the ginormous back of Mama Mia and Mama Mia sensing multiple gazes directed at her back she couldn't help but shrug.

"The unfortunate fella is on the second floor."

Runoa, Anya and the other stop what they were doing as they attempted to leave and see for themselves the said unfortunate man.

But before any of them could exit the kitchen mama Mia's massive hand blocked the path.

"Where do you girls think you're going?"

She asked, her eyebrows raising at the group of girls.

"You still need to get over your task, don't worry there's an opportunity to meet the guy, he is staying here for a couple of days I presumed."

"B-but… mama…"

Mama Mia shakes her head.

"No, but he's a customer of the pub he at least deserves some privacy." – Who knows he might woo the other girls as well.

Imagining the scene of Kai surrounded by her daughters Mia unconsciously and accidentally shattered the delicate glass she's cleaning.

Everyone gulps at the sight of their mama Mia's threat.

They misunderstood.

They thought their mama Mia is being overprotective of Ryuu's crush if only they knew what was running through their mama's mind.

"Oh, my friend Ryuu is in love and here I thought she was planning to be a nun."

A melodious gentle voice echoed throughout the kitchen quickly drew everyone's attention.

"Oh, Syr at last you're here, you're late again."

Anya jovially said approaching Syr.

"Syr, help us convince mama Mia to let us pass."

Anya held Syr's hands.

"No means no!"

Mama Mia's voice boomed through everyone's ears, she looked at Syr in the eyes complicated thoughts running through her mind. – I hope she dont mess this up.

"Ey, are you guys forgetting something!"

May called out garnering everyone's attention.

"You forgot about Chloe's crush!"

"Right, how can we forget our Chloe's crush…"

They look at Mama Mia again. – I'm sorry boy.

"He's upstairs…"

"Do you have his name, mama."

Syr asked.

"What's his name again?"

Mia has a thoughtful look.

"Now that you asked that kid have yet to introduce himself to me, I should punish him for that."

A wide grin surface mama Mia's face, the girls seeing this felt pity for the boy.

"Right his name is Kai, his companion kept saying his name."

"Then what about Ryuu's crush?"

Runoa asked.

Mia's already wide grinned widened once more.

"His name is Kai."

"So Chloe's crush is Kai and Ryuu's crush is Kai, wait…"

Syr stopped talking.

A realization dawn upon everyone present.

They shifted their gazes to red face Chloe and Ryuu.

The two were level 4 powerhouses, the two girls heard the entire discussion even from afar.

Ryuu hides her face with the towel she's using.

Chloe slumped down under the table.

The entire pub was silent and an awkward atmosphere prevailed.

"HAAAAAA…"

Anya was the first to react even though she's one of the least bright when it comes to the brain.

"For this Kai to capture the interest of both Black Cat and Gale. He is something else."

Syr said a gentle but scheming smile on her face.
