Looking at the mass of land that had drank lots of blood and served as a plate carrying rotting flesh for the vultures to feast on, Ruby was proud of what had happened. She had her kingdom back yet, she couldn't deny the huge price that they had to pay for that. She couldn't deny the dent that it had left in the hearts of the people -- her people.
An event that was both fortunate and unfortunate, Ruby would say, was all so fresh in her memories even though they had taken place four months ago. As she looked around, she could see the mark it had left in her kingdom -- in her world. But it wouldn't have gone any other way.
