Ling got to work on Seth with what he had made with some of the magic that was residue in the sword.

After some time, after so many incantations and spell casting, Ling was done. He could see that it was effective because the bleeding had stopped. That was a positive sign that brought hope to Ling's mind.

Still, he was baffled.
