A Move Ahead
Sir Pride had always known that there was something wrong with the new king that occupied the Ziviel Throne. But with the way things had happened, he thought that he had better be quiet about his concerns before he ended up like the former king and his wife.
Within his household, his wife had asked him to gather people to secretly look for the princess. "What if she is not dead?", Sir Pride's wife had said. "Do you want us to keep serving someone that does not have a clear energy?"
Pride had always told his wife that for some reason, he didn't like the energy that he sensed from King Thress. In fact, it hadn't looked to Pride like King Thress was unhappy about the passing of his twin brother. The way the invaders had taken the kingdom over, without even laying hands on the civilians... Pride knew that the person that must have been behind this was only interested in the throne... not so much as leading people.
