A Done Deal
"Mabon was just briefing me on the message that came in last night," Taff began impatiently before they had even gotten to where Ruby was seated.
Ruby didn't say anything yet and held out her hand for them to place a homage kiss on the back of her palm – which they did.
"So impatient, " Mabon muttered under his breath and Taff shrugged.
"Yes…" Ruby agreed, handing Taff the note that she had collected from the table in front of her.
"Mabon is already aware of its content."
Taff scanned through the paper, reading every word carefully and closely. He lifted his head with a smile as his eyes shone with hope and joy.
"It's a done deal then?"
