"Why are you trembling, Selena?" Jade asked as she walked deeper into her room so that she could prepare something for Selena to eat after the long trip she had come from. However, it seemed to Jade that Selena was more concerned about the accident that she didn't even witness than settling down.

"I know these people, Miss Jade. I-"

"Jade... just call me Jade. I know you do but I also want you to know that I have this under control," Jade said to Selena as she tried to reassure her and get her t be calm. Yet, Jade did not see any form of calmnesss overwhelming Selena. These people must have oppressed her to the extent that she could not think straight when their matter arises.

Jade left the sandwich that she had been preparing and walked over to where Selena stood looking as white as a sheet and placed her hands on the hound girl's shoulders. "Will you at least sit down for a little while?"
