Chapter 28
I change into my normal clothes after I take a shower and check if I have any messages. I don’t.
After I exit the lockerooms, I see Leah and Jason talking outside the boys’ lockerooms and Eddie tugging at her dress.
"Hi." I say as I approach them.
"Hey, we were just talking about going out for the pizza. My treat, because I scored the winning goal." Jason says. "Wanna join?"
I nod. "An invitation to a free meal? Count me in. Let’s ask Jake as well." I suggest as someone pokes my knee.
I look down to see Eddie.
"HI!" he yells. "I’m Eddie."
He holds out a hand and I shake it, smiling fondly at him.
"We’re waiting for Niall, who usually takes forever." Leah moans, crossing her arms over her chest.
Eddie barely reaches my thighs and he’s so cute I can’t even.
"I’m Nicki." I tell him and he points at my sweatshirt.
"What are those?" he asks. "They’re fluffy!"
