"School festival you say?!" A2 exclaimed as he widened his eyes in pleasant surprise and excitement.

"Yes! School festival! Dad! You have to go!" Julia said again with sparkling eyes with both Nunnally and Marrybell noting their heads as support.

"As in the kind where the students make a stall or shop out of their room or pitch a tent-like stall in the open grounds of the school?!" A2 asked loudly with excitement as his hands started trembling a little, he even stopped taking pictures.

"That's right! That's right!" Julia answered positively with energy and an excited face.

"Hmm! Hmm!" Nunnally hummed in agreement.

Marrybell did not bother verbally affirming her father and just nodded like her two little sisters.

Then snap! As if something clicked in A2's mind and his excitement blew through the roof and made his ability, which he named 'brain overclocking', activated unconsciously and it directly calmed his emotions or more like isolated his emotions from his body and logical thinking.

This hid his super excited side from his daughters, and he likes that because he didn't want to remove his cool dad label.

Meanwhile, on earth.

"Mili! Why are there only the two of us here? Isn't this supposed to be a student council trip?" Nina asked seriously as she fixed the position of her glasses while she seated on the seats that were assigned to her.

"Well... Hehehe..." Mili laughed awkwardly as she then started scratching the back of her head to show embarrassment. "Lelouch, Rivalz, and Kallen said that they have something personal to do.

It was quite important they said.

I can't prevent them from having a personal life you know.

And so... They all skipped our outing."

Mili pouted after remembering how those three people just told her their excuses and did not even let her say a piece or two before going.

They are currently on a train towards somewhere.

And this trip was supposed to be the student council's first outing in a while now and should be where they would be getting closer as a team.

"What about me, president?! Why didn't you ask my opinion?!" Nina said a bit loudly as she suddenly felt annoyed for thinking that everyone escaped but left her behind to deal with everything that Mili is going to throw.

But in truth, it is only Rivals that had real personal stuff to do while Lelouch and Kallen are just going to join the planned operation of the Black Knights.

"Ehehehe! It's fine, you aren't even doing anything personal, just your solo research.

I did not bother asking cause I know that you would certainly try to find an excuse to not come with me.

Also, I was given this ticket by my parents through, it's supposed to support a group and this is also why I tried inviting everyone.

Everything will be free and the whole trip is already guaranteed.

In an hour or two, they finally arrived at the place.

It's a resort, which is kind of in the middle of the water with many floors in it, and the only thing connecting it to the land is a bridge that has an underground way too.

A day later...

They just finished having a spa and had just worn their clothes back on themselves.

*Boom! Bang! Bang!

They are about to move from the spa area and into their rooms when an explosion sounded before a few gunshots followed.

A spa area is a quiet place because everyone coming here just wants to relax, the design of the place is even quite open in the reception and had some exclusive rooms for people who like their privacy.

"Kyaaahh!" Nina and Mili screamed as they were startled and shocked together with fear.

Then they worriedly looked at each other before they started thinking about what to do.

Then Mili as the student council president, and the one who insisted on going here, felt responsible all of a sudden.

"Nina! Let's look for a staff manager or someone like that to inquire about the situation!" Mili said with a serious and confident face just to appease Nina who is still quite panicked and afraid at the moment.

Nina is smart and is used to being logical most of the time, this time as well, so she quickly got what Mili said and did not become dazed or silly from feeling panicked and afraid.

They then hurriedly looked for the workers that they had just seen as they are making their way out of the spa area.

It did not take too long and they managed to find the manager of the spa area.

After asking, they discovered that the resort was seemingly being attacked and quickly occupied by armed assailants who looked trained and disciplined.

All the guards in this place are veterans, some even came from the army but were still taken down quickly.

The place that the assailants first started to take over is the staff and security area, followed by the places that are currently being crowded by people like the pools, casinos, and such places.

Mili and Nina brainstormed as they pitch ideas to each other about what to do next.

They quickly realized that it might be too late to try and leave this place now because those assailants would certainly have taken over the bridge, which is the only way to get here except for the boat.

But the resort can easily be defended from the water because the water is an open area, any boat that gets any closer will be seen and be rained down with bullets.

This analysis was given by Nina just so that they could think up a better thing to do.

Mili couldn't think of anything to do in this situation except try to protect their selves.

So she just decided to hole themselves up in the suits that they are staying in right now.

The suit is luxurious with all the amenities that they would need, although it is clear that the hotel part of the resort will be searched, they can still hide in their suit.
