The Little Boy

James's mind reeled as he tried to make sense of the being before him. It looked like a boy, but there was something distinctly unearthly about him. His skin, while fair and human-like, had an almost scaly texture, and his hair, a mop of dark brown curls, seemed almost too perfect to be natural. But what struck James the most was the long, white tail that the boy possessed, like that of a mythical creature from ancient stories. He stood there, transfixed, unable to look away from this strange, beautiful being.

It was clear that it was this little boy that made the fog.

"What's your name?" Getrax asked as he brought out one of his metallic hands for a handshake.

"I can't remember" the boy said while scratching his head and refusing to shake hands with Getrax.

"What is he?" Getrax whispered to James.

He expected James to know what race the boy was from, because the boy looked almost human excluding the fact that he has a tail and scales all over his body. He looked exactly human. Getrax thought if anyone was to know anything about the race of this boy, it would be James.

"I have no clue" James also whispered.

"How does he expect us to know" Edmund said inside James's head. James chuckled.

Getrax thought that since James and this boy looked alike, they might have come from thesame planet; Earth.

"Don't you remember anything, how you came here, who you are or what you are?" James asked the boy.

The boy tried thinking but he could remember nothing all he could remember was blank. Then gradually some memories came into his head. Those memories were fast. They were just glimpse, the more he thought of them the more he started to feel pain.

James and Getrax were confused, because the boy in front of them was now holding his head like he was experiencing excruciating pain. This scenario remembered James of how he usually feels whenever he tries to remember his past life.

The little boy was now lying on the floor and he was feeling pains all over his head. He tried as much as possible to not scream.

"What wrong?" Getrax asked in a panicked tone.

Inside the little boys head he started seeing visions, He was inside a lab.

"Are you done" An unknown deep voice asked.

"No, not yet" another replied, Who was dressed in a white lab coat. "The process is about to start, when i am done i would inform you"

The Little boy had stopped feeling pain and so did the visions stop. He stood up from the floor, both James and Getrax were confused as to what happened. The boy was sweating seriously like a regular human.

"The process is about to start, when i am done i would inform you" The Little boy said trying to remember the visions he just saw.

"What does that mean?" James asked in a confused look.

"It's something i could... Argh" The boy started screaming again in pain. "Argh".

"Stop thinking about it so much, just let go!" James shouted at him. Getrax was looking at both of them confused. He did not interfere he thought maybe this was a human thing that he knew nothing about.

The boy did as he was told and then the pain reduced. There was something this boy and James had in common, they could not remember their past and whenever they want to remember it, they would feel excruciating pain.

"Thank you sir" The boy told James as he was very grateful.

"No problem" James replied.

"Our main focus should be how to leave this place" Getrax said. Getrax was scared that some Mevorotrian guards might show up.

The trio which were James/Edmund, Getrax and the Little boy started moving forward. James and Getrax were now mostly scared to open any doors because they did not know what could be behind those doors. Maybe their could be beings that were more powerful and agressive than this boy behind them. The little boy on the other hand just followed them.

The trio were moving forward, the place was so quiet that their steps could be heard clearly.

"Where the fuck are we" James asked trying to break the awkward silence.

"I have no clue" Getrax said while also looking at the little boy, indicating that the little boy should also give his own answer.

"I don't know anything" the boy said. "What is inside this place".

The boy said as he was trying to open one of the doors.

"Nooooo!" James and Getrax shouted simultaneously at the top of their voice. Their shout had woken up something unknown to them.

The little boy immediately stopped at the moment. The way they shouted shocked him. 'what are they so scared of' the boy thought to himself.

"Don't open any of those doors" Getrax said in an angry tone like he was about to crush the boy anytime from now.

"I am sorry" The boy said in a remorseful tone.

"it's okay" James said trying to be the compassionate one.

BANG***BANG***BANG***

A loud bang could be heard, James, Getrax and the little boy all turned and looked at that direction in fear of what it was. The banging sound was loud, it was clear something big or dangerous was about to break through one of the doors, they looked at all the doors, they could not figure out where the sound was coming from. The sound then stopped.

"What was that" James asked Getrax in a terrified tone.

"We need to leave immediately, I don't want to find out" Getrax said in a panicked tone. He was also scared. The three of them was scared.

They started running forward, they did not know where they were going, but all they knew was that they were running. The little boy could not keep up with them so Getrax carried him on his back. Both Getrax and James had super speed. Even with their super speed, the place was still big enough. The more they moved forward, the more the place looked darker and darker and then they had to stop.

The little boy who had closed his eyes the whole time opened it because he was confused as to why they stopped. When he looked forward, the room was somehow dark, but there was a little blue light that stood there.

Even if the light was not that clear, it was able to show the shape of what was in front of them.

It was a gigantic monster/alien.

"Run back!!!!" Getrax shouted at the top of his voice as he fled because of the fear of what he had just seen.
