11. When Table Turns
"Eve, you are not telling me anything!" Noah screamed at her face like one who would run insane any minute.
"What else do you want to know about or hear? What you have heard, is it not enough to completely ruin my reputation?" She yelled at him curtly.
"What? Reputation?" He laughed in disbelief.
"Eve, you lied to me! You told me you owned this company. You told me Mr. Mateo is your junior brother who also manages the company!" He reminded her in anger.
"What the fuck is going on? How come that you're nothing but a mere staff?" He gave her a dirty look and she lowered her face.
She was holding her brown office box, that was the only thing she could take out of the office.
All eyes were on her, laughing and murmuring. She was so ashamed of herself.
"Speak to me!" Noah's voice resonated in the air as they stepped out of the elevator.
