After the declaration ceremony or rather declaration disaster was over everyone retired to their own cottages. So did the chief's family members. On reaching the cottage Ataza dragged Samaes to it's back near the trees. Both the sisters heard a heated conversation among them.
"Well the ground doesn't seem too clear Teva..." started Teja.
"We'll prove ourselves Teja. Don't worry I am sure that we can. I would love to munch away those narrow minded heads." said Teva with a confident yet mischievous smile.
Suddenly there was a cautious rap on the wooden cottage door.
"Who's it??" demanded Teja with a heavy voice.
"It's me Abis, Teja. Open the door please." said a male voice nervously.
A delightful smile crossed the two girl's faces. At last Abis had come. They had been waiting for him since morning. Abis was their childhood friend. He was the son of their father's chief advisor. He had a soft corner for the girls though they never utilised it or even cared. Abis had a strong built with greats skills. He was as fearless as the girls & always preferred to support them. Abis was the only one whom the girls trusted.
Teva quickly went & opened the door.
"Congratulations girls!!" Abis said with a warm smile, "But very sorry to hear ur conditions..."
"Oh, we'll manage them, don't worry" Teja assured with confidence.
