Ch.12

A man with a rough voice said. I was scared to do anything. This is the first time anything like this has happened. I got to think about this carefully. What do I want to do? Ah! The bracelet! If money is what he wants, if he takes it, it will ring and maybe Kaiser will come! I hope this plan works

"Oh no! Please don't take my bracelet! It was a gift! It's made after real gold!"

I did my best to sound helpless and afraid to lose something. The guy ripped the bracelet off of my wrist and took a look at it. Him being stupid and shaking it.

"Ha! Do you think some guy will come and save you~? I am not stupid! Now I'll kill you…" He put the bracelet in his pocket and cut a bit of my neck. My neck was slowly bleeding out now. I pace my hand on the cut to stop the bleeding. He then kicked me onto the ground.

"So fucking eas- Ah!!!" I turned around to see Kaiser!! Kaiser snaps the guy's arm in half. I was in shock.

"Who the fuck are you to do this?"

Kaiser Rudy's eyes were glowing like a demon from hell. The man who cut me was in fear try to run away but Kaiser didn't let that happen Kaiser use his magic to lift him up in the air and snap his neck in half. Now the guy is dead. Who is Kaiser… How is he so powerful in magic and why would he use his magic to hurt someone so badly?

What if I met an evil man because he hates the royal family? What if he was banned or worse? What if he was wanted and he flees? Kaiser turn his attention to me and I was shocked. I am afraid that he will hurt me.

"Viviana!"

His eyes soften and he uses his magic to heal the cut. He then takes out the wrap bandages and uses them to wrap around my neck.

"You idiot! How could you be so stupid to let him cut your throat!! Do you have any brains!?"

I was going to say something but he stop me.

"I Get it! Don't say anything! You need to heal for a bit,"

He lifted me up in the bride's style. His eyes, I saw those eyes before. At the ball where I met Duke Rosedale whose eyes are the same. I cupped his cheeks and kept staring into his eyes. Kaiser slowly moved my hand away from his face.

"You should rest my lady~"

The back of his hand touched my cheeks and my eyes felt heavy. I soon closed my eyes.

Elatha made her fall asleep because he knew that she almost knew who was dancing with her. Elatha was Duke Rosedale. He teleports back to Viviana's home and places her on her bed. He took the sunflower and placed it on her body. He turns the sunflower into a nightgown that fits perfectly on her body.

The door soon opened, it was Eternal, which caught Elatha by surprise.

"I thought you were going to study abroad?"

Eternal came into the room and shut the door quietly. Crossing his arms and glaring at Elatha. Trying to look tough and big.

"I should be asking the question first, what are you doing in my sister's room?? It's highly inappropriate for a man like you to be alone in a lady's room,"

Elatha tries to not laugh at Eternal, since in front of him... Eternal was just a tiny kid!

"I'm helping your sister since she didn't have anyone to dance with..."

"Ah, I see...."

Elatha sat at the end of Viviana's bed and stare at Eternal. This reminds him of his own brother back at home when they were both kids.

"I answer your question, now you should answer mine... I thought you left already?"

Eternal sigh a bit and uncrossed his arms.

"I didn't want to leave yet, I am worried for my sister…"

"You don't need to worry she is a strong lady,"

Eternal shook his head before he handed Elatha the coin bag.

"Take care of my sister for me, I can't become stronger if I stay here forever,"

"Going to become the next Duke?"

Eternal nodded cutey.

Elatha chuckles and wraps his arm around Eternal head.

"Such a good kid,"

"Ugh… I'm fifteen years old!"

Eternal moved away a little annoyed but he couldn't stay upset for to long before Elatha crossed his arms.

"Is that all?"

"Well, I overheard from my father that the Moon crown prince and princess are coming to the Sun kingdom… It seems they are ready to meet the future princess of the sun kingdom,"

Elatha froze as his eyes widened. He knew his older brother was only coming here to show off and to find him. It's not like his older brother was bad or anything but Why is Calista coming?! What does she want? She never cares about royal affairs.

"Huh… that is interesting…"

Elatha stood up and walk towards the window and opens it.

"Where are you going?!"

Eternal follow Elatha. He look back at the fifteen years old boy and smiled.

"I'll take care of your sister don't worry, I got some business to do first,"

Elatha jumps out of the window and teleports away. Eternal look out of the window to see Elatha was gone before he said,

"I think it was a bad idea to give you money to protect my sister...."

Over the Moon empire…

Princess Calista Amelia Dion, the crown princess of the Moon empire and is married to Crown Prince Amaris Cadel Dion. She has ginger straight hair and hazel eyes. Amaris really love and care about Calista. Calista was Elatha's first love who broke his heart. For a long time, since she was married to him, she never care about royal affairs and doing her duty as a crown princess. Until now and the only reason is because of power. Calista was in her room, looking at herself in the mirror as her maid brushed her hair.

"Rose, where is my husband?"

The maid Rose stop brushing her hair and place the brush back on the table.

"Your highness, he is right now at a meeting with the Emperor…"

Calista signed Rose to leave and Rose left the room. Soon the window bust open and all the candlelight was out. Leaving the room pitch black, only the half-dim moonlight, light part of the room.

"After all those years, you came to see me…"

Calista turns around to see Elatha with his black cloak on, he slowly removes it, to show his white hair and ruby eyes. Calista came up to him and try to cup his cheeks but he slapped her hand away.

"Tell me, sister-in-law… Why do you care about royal affairs?"

She shamefully crosses her arms under her chest to make it seem bigger than it actually is.

"Isn't it my duty as the future empress to get involved? Besides, it's not like you ever care to begin with~" She slyly smiled at him.

"What are you even planning? Don't you have enough?"

Elatha came closer to her, in hope, she will answer. She raises an eyebrow to question him even more. She didn't say a word.

"Answer me!!!"

He shouted. He knew she want something but what does she want?

"Elatha, do you still love me?"

She questioned him. He was hesitant to say anything.

"...No I don't love you…"

He lied to himself and was about to leave when she threw her stuff on the table onto the floor.

"Stop lying! I know you still love me!!"

She shouted at him but he never look back.

"I have someone new in my life,"

She runs after him, clinging onto his arm.

"Who is she?! Is she a princess or is she a noble daughter!?"

Elatha pushes her off and turns around to face her. She ends up falling to the floor as he tips her chin up.

"A true noble daughter who has royal blood running in her vein~ Besides, it's not like you ever care to begin with," he walked towards the window.

He looks at her one last time with his sharp ruby eyes before he falls back with smoke appearing. Calista stood up in anger that he found someone new.

"Ha! I thought he told me he would love me forever, but it seems he find someone new,"

Calista opens her door and tries to go downstairs in just her nightgown which is very shameful for a princess. Her maid Rose tries to stop her but Calista ends up slapping her.

"Let go of me! Don't you dare touch me!"

She yelled as the guard stepped away from her, afraid they would get their head chopped off. Finally, Prince Amaris came out of the room.

"My wife! What is wrong!"

He was worried about why she was crying. Calista fakes more tears and runs into his arms.

"I-I saw Prince Elatha! H-he try touching m-"

Amaris let go of her and ran into her room only to see an open window. He runs up to it and shouts his name outside, hoping his brother will hear him.

"Elatha! Please come home!"

He didn't care what she said at the moment since all he want his is own little brother to come back. Calista stood up and wipe her fake tears. She calls for her maid.

"Rose, give the Methusael a task to keep an eye on Elatha… There is no way he has another woman in his life,"

Rose nodded and quickly told Methusael their task. They agree and quickly went to find Elatha. Someone came out of the shadow.

"Princess, there is a letter from Chela's house,"

"Chela house? From the Sun kingdom?"

Calista took the letter and read it. She then smirked.

"How interesting, Celine Aphrodite Eden and Kalina Chela want a chat with me?! What a joke!"

Calista tries to not laugh too hard and rip the paper up.

"Princess, I heard she may become the crown princess of the sun kingdom,"

Calista looks at the man. This is a perfect chance for Calista to be in control of everything.

"Let her know, I want to meet halfway to see Lady Celine~"

Calista yawn a bit before she went to her husband and hug him with once again fake tears.

I open my eyes to see, I am back in my room. It seems morning has come already and I am also not wearing my gown but a pretty sunflower color nightgown. If Kalina or Celine saw this, they would have ripped it to pieces. I touch my neck to see that it was healed. Kaiser was a scary man who could have killed me. A maid came in and Kalina went in with her fan.

"Finally awake Viviana? Geez, no wonder you are getting so fat…"

"Is that all you got to say? Don't you have better duty to do instead insulting a young lady like me?"

Kalina's face turned bright red and she slapped me.

"Disgusting that I have to touch you! Hurry now, your father is here and we are sending Eternal away,"

"At least I was born a noble and wasn't a street rat!"

Kalina angry fan herself. Wait.. No, Eternal is going to study abroad??! I have to say goodbye first! I quickly got up and rush towards the door but the maid block my way.

"My lady, you can't lose Duke Chela's face!"

She smirked at me and Kalina snap her finger. More maids came out and have a yellow corset gowns. Pushing me against the bed pose, putting on a slim yellow dress, and forcing a corset on.

"What are you doing!? I have to see him! I'll be late!"

I shouted but the maid keep doing their job as Kalina smirked. In the back, pulling on the corset too tight, I couldn't breathe, it's not like I hate it but they did it way too tight. Quickly have my hair tied with yellow ribboning.

"Look at you~"

Kalina faked a smile and father came in. Father… I miss him but he must hate to see me…

"Greeting father,"

I greeted him and he slap me. My eyes widen, wondering why he hit me.

"You, it seems you don't even care to see your brother but instead spill water on Celina?!"

"What!? I was sleeping! How could I spill water on Celina!"

I yelled at my father, This time I am not going to shut my mouth on this.

"You want to see real spill?! Here you go!!"

I grab the glass of water next to my bed and dump it on Celina. I yank Celina by the hair as she screams in pain. I threw her onto the floor.

"IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?!"

"That's enough! I am kicking you out for good! You're no longer the daughter of the Chela family! You're just a commoner! Pack your stuff and leave!"

Father yelled at me. I was in tears and looking at Celina and Kalina smirking. You know, they always put me as the villain of their stories, I will gladly take on that role…

I smirked a bit.

"Curse you and everyone who did me dirty, I'll one day return for revenge…"

I grab my mother's last gift to me, which was braces, and left the place. I easily wipe her smirk off her face. The only place I can go is Kaier, even though he is a strange man, he saved me… I must repay his kindness, maybe by doing the cleaning and cooking.

I went to the shop and went in. Kaiser was shocked to see me, he drop the book he was reading and then went up to me.

"What the hell are you doing here!? You should be resting!!!"

"How can I rest when I just got kicked out!"

He pauses and signs. Thinking for a bit before saying,

"You want to stay here??"

"Yes, I can cook and clean for a while… Until I find Aunt Jora,"

I slowly look him in the eyes and he groans.

"Fine, fine… follow me to the back…"

I follow him to the back. I remember the first time I went to the back, we were at a magic lake under the moonlight. However, I became even more shocked to see his home.

"This is my place, sorry for the little mess…"

Kaiser rubs the back of his neck.

Celina was in the carriage. She was roughly opening the page of what she wrote of the original stories.

"Why is she getting harder and harder to deal with!"

Celina yelled and started to throw a tantrum and Lisa her maid was so worried.

"M-my lady… P-please calm down! It's not right for a lady to act that way! If your mother saw this! She will b-beat me!"

Lisa was begging Celina to stop.

"Shut up!"

Celina smacks Lisa and she just shut her mouth. The carriage stopped and Celian got off. In the middle of the woods, a small cabin. She went inside to meet the one and only Crown Princess Calista Amelia Dion,

"You're quite late Lady Celina…"

Calista wearing her big dull silver gown with a gold embroidered pattern at the bottom that goes up to her waistline, with U cut with a golden string net that goes around her neck and maria sleeves. Having her hair up in a La Belle et la bête. Which was a simple two french braid on both sides, weave braid ends into each other, and her small but beautiful gold tiara crown with small red gemstone.

Celina was quite an envy of how well she is dressed but Celina didn't come to underdress at all. Wearing a more soft white gown with some purple to cover it, small white flowers are sewn onto the dress. A purple bow in the middle of the waist, covering down the waistline down to the bottom of the dress draped in white pearl. A purple and white v shape top that shows off the shoulder and white puffed trumpet sleeves. Matching white pure pearl necklace, ring, and earring. Of course having her hair half up and down, with a braided bow in the back and a white headband.

Celina took a seat in front of Calista. Calista told everyone to leave but the two.

"Your dress is so last year,"

Calista fanned herself but Celina just smirked.

"It's actually the late fashion, your dress is so centuries ago…"

Calista upset by that just fanned herself. Celina smirked, knowing she won. After all, Celina has all the notes of the original stories.

"Why did you call me over?"

"Crown Princess Calista, I hope we can work together… I don't know if you know this, but I want to become the crown princess of the Sun kingdom. If I do become one, wouldn't it be better to help each other out?"

Calista laughed as she closed her fan. Pointing the closed fan at Celina.

"You? Being crown princess!? Hahaha! Why would I ever help you?"

Calista whips her tears from laughter.

Celina's eyes dark a bit. She was pissed. However, Celina started to smile. Calista was confused about why she was acting this way.

"What happens if I bring up a dirty secret of yours~?"

Celina's dark eyes stare at Calista.

"I have no secret, I am just a perfect hu-"

Celina slams a piece of paper on the table. It was no old paper, it was proof of Calista's true past.

"H-how did you find this!?"

Calista try to grab the paper but Celina took it in time.

"Oh, this slave paper? I just had to ask some birds around about you… This paper shows me you use to be a slave but your so-called father tries to erase the truth. I wonder what will happen if they find out the princess lied to her dear royal family ~"

Calista eyes were full of fear. It was true what Celina said. Calista was born to both slave parents. At the age of 9 years old, her parents were both sold to different families. She believe having power was the only way to keep living in this world. Mr.Dove saw her and only took her in because she looked like his dead daughter. Telling everyone his daughter was never dead but was still alive. Calista real name was Alice.

"Oh Calista- I mean Alice~ I just need to copy this and it's over~ So what do you say? Work with me? I already got Viviana away from the crown…"

Calista was pissed but she calm down a bit after hearing the name Viviana.

"Wait… Viviana… Your step-sister.?"

"Yeah, she is… Why?"

Calista remembers her maid telling her about the woman who has Kaiser wrapped around her.

"Viviana, she been talking to my brother-in-law… I hate how she is talking to him,"

Celina rise an eyebrow.

"You use to be in love with your brother-in-law?"

"Love? Ha! What a joke… I just want the power and love he has to offer to me… I want everything… Besides he isn't the only one I want to use~"

Calista whips out her fan again and fans herself.

"We would make a pretty good team…"

"You are saying Celina if we can get rid of Viviana… You'll be the crown princess of the sun kingdom and I'll have everything he has to offer?"

Celina grins a bit before she snaps her finger.

"It's what we both want! But!"

Celina shows the slave paper again.

"If you dare use some tricks up your sleeves, I wouldn't hesitate to show everyone the real you~ Your choice~"

"A deal is a deal…"

Calista glare at Celina. They both shake hands to agree to this. Both left and went home. Planning to meet again to plan what to do next. Calista was now in her room, breaking everything. She was pissed and afraid of what will Celina was going to do with that paper. Calista was planning to backstab Celina but knowing Celina have the truth behind her, it was all over. Calista never felt challenged before. She is the first person to challenge her.

"Celina I fucking hate you! I'll find a loophole! Just wait!"
