That is only what Director Jamie said before writing something on the portfolio she was holding. Then after that, Director Jamie looked at Giselle and scrutinized her from head to toe. Giselle does not feel any awkwardness from it. She knew that the director is only doing it to see if she is beautiful or not. But of course, Giselle knew that she is beautiful.

"Alright. Ms. Giselle Tan, you can go home first and wait for our official announcement on our social media account. Call up the next auditioner!"

Giselle sent her thanks to the judges before she walked out of the audition room. When the next person is entering the audition room, Giselle showed her a confident smirk as if secretly telling her not to do her best anymore because she already got the role. After that, she walked into the hallway and ignored the presence of the auditionees outside the audition room. Before Giselle meet with Iñigo who is waiting for her in the lobby, she decided to go to the powder room first to retouch her make-up.

When she opened the powder room, Giselle was surprised to see another woman inside. It was none other than her bitch ex-stepsister, Francheska. She is currently fixing her pearl earrings on her left ear. Giselle suddenly frowned when she saw the jewelry Francheska was wearing up close.

Although it looks like simple-looking pearl jewelry, the amount of it is really expensive. It is because that pearl jewelry is one of the best-limited edition jewelry set from The Fairy Factory. They released that jewelry set a year ago. Giselle is very sure about it because the color of the pearls Francheska was wearing has a shade of white and gold.

Giselle's sweet facade instantly distorted in jealousy. She can still remember how she really wanted to place an order to get that pearl jewelry set. But her mother stopped Giselle from doing it. At that time, Sheryl and Damian are not yet married.

Giselle received no response from Francheska who is still busy fixing her appearance in front of the mirror. She scoffed at Francheska and stand beside her. Giselle eyed her from head to toe before raising an eyebrow.

"It is really good to be a famous star, huh? You are literally wearing branded clothes from head to toe."

Giselle still received no response. On the other hand, Francheska finished what she was doing and wash her hands. Francheska gets a disposable tissue and dried her hand before walking out of the powder room. From the beginning, Francheska did not speak a word to Giselle. She did not even give her a single glance. This made Giselle more irritated.

She followed Francheska and looked at her back who is walking with poise in her four inches high heels. Giselle made sure that there will be no onlookers first at their surroundings. How dare that bitch ignore her existence? Francheska is just a pitiful and disposed daughter of her stepfather.

With quick and precise steps, she bumped with Francheska's shoulder intentionally. Giselle even put a little strength to make sure that Francheska will fall on the floor. Francheska really did not expect it. She was caught off-guard with the sudden force that hits her shoulder. Francheska can only brace herself to feel the impact of her fall.

But the impact Francheska is waiting for did not happen. Instead, she felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist. Francheska grasped and pulled the long sleeves the man was wearing. Her legs seemed to have lost their strength. Unconsciously, she lifted her head to see the face of the man who saved her.

Francheska's eyes widened in surprise to see him smiling at her. The man has a pair of bright and mesmerizing pair of caramel-colored eyes. He had dark eyebrows that sloped downwards in a serious expression. He also had prominent cheekbones and a well-defined chin and nose. His thin lips are lightly hooking up in a smile.

The last time Francheska saw him was when he tried to stopped her from going abroad. But still, she ignored him and left the city. Francheska suddenly remembered a distant memory where he deeply stared at her eyes as he tells her that when she meets him again in the future, he will surely not let her go again.

"Race..." She muttered his name softly.

The moment he heard his name from Francheska's lips, his pale and thin lips curved upwards.
