In the afternoon, the Ice Pillar Destruction Event commenced.
Ice Pillar Destruction is played by one person per team. Each team can send anyone, as long they’re part of the current team. Another rule is that, a player cannot participate twice.
The first one we sent was Senior Trent, and we were against Cedi Royal Academy, and their face off was when the sun was starting to touch the horizon.
The event’s goal is simple; protect your ice pillars and destroy your enemy’s ice pillars within a minute. The player with the most ice pillars standing wins.
Easy enough right? But from the practice I’ve had weeks before the G.A. Games, it was actually a little complicated to achieve.
Each participant has around fifteen pillars to protect. They have to make sure they protect the pillars they have and destroy their opponent’s. Going offense and defense at the same time can be a little hard to achieve especially when the participant has to defend multiple items.
