Unexpected Fortune

"What do you mean the suites are full? Do you know who I am? I am the Doh Clan Young Master!"

The waiter could only crouch down and say the first thing to come to mind "The last suite was taken up by a doctor. There is nothing I can do."

The Doh Clan Young Master looked up at the closest suite and he waved his hands. Causing all the curtains to be blown away by the wind from his Ki.

Jong In-Su was fast and put on his mask before standing up on the ledge. His eyes were cold as he spoke "I do not care if you attempt to take the suite from anyone else. But if you dare to provoke me again I will not be so kind."

The Doh Clan Young Master looked at the doctor who dared to threaten him. He was about to tell his Martial Adept Guards to attack but he remembered a report made by his clan about a strange mysterious doctor appearing in the Golden Flower Clan who was quite young.

The Doh Clan Young Master quickly turned his anger into an amicable smile as he bowed "I saw a great figure yet acted like a child. I am truly spoiled. I hope the Masked Doctor can forgive me."

His clan couldn't afford to offend the Golden Flower Clan. They actually had a deal where they sent resources every year for 5 yearly tickets to the Golden Flower Major Clinic. Even if they didn't have a catastrophe and the resources went to waste, when an emergency did happen these 5 yearly tickets would be vital.

Jong In-Su snorted before shutting the curtains once again. 

The Doh Clan Young Master felt sweat drip from his brow. He knew he just slightly avoided calamity. But now that he was safe, he was terrified about what his father was going to do once he heard news that his son almost offended the new Imperial Doctor.

Knowing that the Doh Clan Young Master gathered his courage and went upstairs to the suite "Masked Doctor, I really want to show you my sincerity. May I come in to discuss."

Jong In-Su was about to reject this before he thought about it. He had a month to reach the capital and he was only a day away. Staying a bit longer wouldn't be a problem.

He opened the curtain and the Doh Clan Young Master had a sigh of relief. 

The young master closed the curtain behind him and bowed "Sir, my name is Doh Woong. Recently our clan discovered an ancient ruin and although most of the ruin was destroyed leaving almost nothing except a few Mortal Treasures."

Doh Woong stopped for dramatic effect before continuing "But among that rubble, we found a box of strange pills that none of the masters we invited were able to identify. We have only invited a few experts and the reward for identifying the pill or figuring out the effects of the pill would receive 5 of the 20 pills. I have already informed my father that I will invite you to attempt to identify it before we release the information request to the public."

Giving 5 pills out of 20 was quite generous of the Doh Clan. Jong In-Su was interested so he nodded his head and stood up. On the mask were three quite interesting formations. The first one hid his facial features completely to hide his identity. The second one allowed the mask to hide behind his ears to cover his face within the blink of an eye. The third one changed his voice allowing him to once again hide his identity.

The voice he produced from the mask was realistic but different from his real voice.

"Take me to the pills now. I have to leave very soon so let's finish this quickly."

Jong In-Su and Doh Woong entered a carriage that quickly left for their clan.

Entering the clan Jong In-Su immediately brought him to their treasury where they stored the pill. In front of the pill, a bald middle-aged man stood looking at the pill. 

Doh Woong bowed, announcing their presence "Father. I have brought the Masked Doctor of the Golden Flower Clan to identify the pill."

The man turned around and suddenly gathered the Ki of a Martial Grandmaster in an attempt to suppress Jong In-Su. Sadly for the Doh Clan Leader, the man he was trying to suppress cultivates the Golden Heaven Divine Body, one of the strongest in the entire world.

Jong In-Su smirked underneath the mask before saying "Are you done?"

The Doh Clan Leader was shocked. The aura of a Martial Grandmaster couldn't suppress a Martial Adept? He quickly realized this Masked Doctor wasn't any normal doctor.

He put his hands behind his back and said "I am sure you have heard the details from my son. But as a Doctor I hope you can help me. My daughter...she had been infected by the Yin Meridian Poison that had directly hit her Ki Core. I believe that this pill has a lot of Yang Ki that can hopefully balance the Yin Ki in her Ki Core to stabilize her. We went to the Golden Flower Minor Clinic and all the doctors could do was give a few medicinal herbs that would temporarily bring balance before her condition once again returned. We have brought the pill to get truly identified to make sure it wasn't a poison but no one that we were able to hire was able to identify it."

The Doh Clan Leader asked sincerely, "Can you please help my daughter."

Jong In-Su simply nodded his head before walking to the box where the pills were placed. Opening it, he got a strong waft of some very strong herbs and plants that were likely used in the pill.

He then extended his Ki and inspected the pill. Going through the Holy Immolation Alchemy Manual he began delving into the secret methods used to refine the pill. Most Alchemists actually use a few herbs and plants to attempt to disguise the real ingredients to hide the formula of the pill.

This is to both protect the property of the Alchemist and to make sure their formulas aren't constantly being stolen and recreated by others. But the Holy Immolation Alchemy Manual found and expounded by Ancestor Ki-Nam allowed him to see through the entirety of the pill

Jong In-Su then spoke "I am not sure of the name of the pill but if I was to name it I would call it the Yin-Yang Harmony Pill. You have truly struck gold here. If someone digested this pill their Ki Core would be continuously nourished by Ki from Heaven and Earth."

"The Yin-Yang Harmony Natural Source is a perfect example of what this pill can do. As you know when Yin and Yang reach perfect harmony the world turns that area into a Ki Haven transforming the environment and mutating everything in the land from the tallest trees to the tiny blades of grass. This pill attempts to recreate that."

The Doh Clan Leader's face became excited hearing this "So I can use this to treat my daughter?"

Jong In-Su nodded his head "I haven't personally examined her but I am guessing that the pill will grant her 10 more years according to her natural lifespan. She will even be able to cultivate and when she reaches the Martial Rebirth Realm she has a chance of expunging the Yin from her body or taking advantage of it. Doh Clan Leader I must say you are incredibly lucky to find this particular pill. But before you feed it to her, you must have a doctor refine the pill inside her body in a certain way that will stabilize her unstable Ki Core. If you give it to her without proper preparation, her lifeforce will become unstable and she will die."

The clan marked these pills as one of the important treasures they had. With five of the pills going to Jong In-Su, they only had 15 pills left giving her 150 years before she passed away. In these 150 years he had to raise his daughter's strength all the way to the Martial Rebirth Realm. This was a tough task because even though he wasn't even at that level yet, he was ready to do anything for his daughter.

Jong In-Su followed the Doh Clan Leader and Doh Woong to a special room inside the Doh Clan Manor. The clan hired a formation master to create a Minor Yang Formation. This room would be filled with Yang Ki allowing the Joh Clan Leader's daughter to not have as many Yin Ki Breakouts occur.

He asked for a scroll and a pen to write with. He then extended his hands over the Doh Clan Leader's Daughter and drew her figure and an exact copy of what her meridian and Ki Core layout was.

It was like a direct look into her body. Jong In-Su then began drawing the pattern that the Yin-Yang Harmony Pill had to flow through the body for it to be most effective for her treatment.

"When you go to a Minor Clinic and show them this, the doctor should be able to easily follow the pattern. I shall do it the first time to make the pathway clear."
