To the Imperial City

The painting depicted a strange scene, it was like Heaven and Earth merged. Hundreds of details were drawn into the picture from the lightning strikes of Heaven to the pebbles on Earth.

The Ancestor looked at and shook his head "I studied this painting so much that I have it imprinted on my soul itself. I don't need the physical copy. Right now, this painting will expand your soul to become even more powerful. This itself makes the technique one of a kind as there are virtually no techniques in our world that can do that. But whenever you begin comprehending the Laws of the World this painting allows you to gain a deeper insight into the hidden knowledge."

Jong In-Su was lost in the painting, the Ancestor was confused at first before his face turned to shock "He... he is comprehending the painting! His soul is expanding even faster than mine when I found this technique!"

A few minutes later Jong In-Su woke up from his comprehending state "Master, my mind entered the painting and a ton of information tried to enter my mind."

The Ancestor just stood in shock for a moment before going into a roaring laughter "The Heavens haven't failed me! My disciple is too talented, too talented indeed! Jong In-Su, you are able to enter the painting because you are worthy of receiving the inheritance within. I was simply the holder of the painting to give it to the fated one so I received a bit of strength in return. I hope I am still alive to watch you blaze into the Heavens like a fish leaping over the dragon's gate."

With that the Ancestor started to float away from the world. The Clan watched in awe, their clan produced a dominating figure. Like many other Hegemons he left the clan. But they knew they had to move forward, to create more hegemons and to create a dominating bloodline. This was the dream that every clan wanted to achieve.

Jong In-Su binded to the painting before putting all the treasures into the Spatial Ring.

He then left the cave and reached the Clan Leader who was still staring at the sky.

"Clan Leader. As the Ancestor instructed I will have to leave the Golden Flower Clan to become the Imperial Doctor. With this the Golden Flower Clan will get more resources. I shall take my leave. I thank the clan for everything it has done for me."

Jong In-Su knew if the Golden Flower Clan didn't take the risk of taking him in then he would have died. He also knew it was likely they only took the risk of offending the Tang Clan because of his God Physiques, but they still treated him with kindness despite being an outsider.

Jumping onto a Red Horse, Jong In-Su sped out of the clan with the Imperial City being his destination.

Within the Imperial City…

The red-robed Joseon Emperor listened to the report by his Eunuch "The Murim Alliance has been becoming more unruly. They established their Headquarters in the Severing Valley between the Joseon Dynasty and the Baekje Dynasty. Hundreds of Sects have begun swearing themselves to the Alliance. But we have placed spies within their leagues and despite them claiming to be a righteous power they seem to be creating quite an evil formation around their Headquarters that might be the forbidden Blood Gouging Demon Formation."

The Joseon Emperor shook his head. The Murim Alliance was established fairly recent yet they got the support of the Shaolin Temple, the Beggars Sect, the Mount Hua Sect, the Heavenly Dragons Sect, the Peach Blossom Island, the Eight Trigram Sect, the Tang Clan, and the Seon Ancient Sect. These make up the Eight Heavenly Sects, the most powerful sects within the Murim World.

"The power of all eight sects is equivalent to the Baekje Dynasty. Although the Joseon Dynasty is slightly stronger with the support of the other sects they might be able to wipe out our entire Dynasty."

Contingency plans began to form in the Joseon Emperor's head. But he knew he couldn't act rash or else the Murim Alliance would take advantage of that.

The Eunuch saw his master wasn't in a good mood so he decided to give the final report "The Golden Flower Clan is part of the clans who hasn't joined the Murim Alliance. They gave a statement that as a Medical Clan they would treat anyone as long as they weren't part of the Corrupt Society so even though they will treat Murim Alliance people they will still stay here. They set up a new Golden Flower Major Clinic in the Murim Alliance Headquarters and they sent the new doctor, the one they call the Masked Doctor, to become the Imperial Doctor. It seems they don't want to become enemies with either side so they are trying to please both. Dealing their cards to both sides."

The Joseon Emperor smiled, he wasn't mad at the Golden Flower Clan because he would likely do the same if he had a clan of that kind of influence "That Masked Doctor. I assume he is likely the last disciple that old man Ki-Nam took before becoming a Hegemon. That's the only way he could have grown so fast. For him to become the Imperial Doctor is a good trade. For that old monster to finally undergo his earthmerge, this person must have immense talent. Have the best living arrangements set for him. Also give him this Treasury Seal. He will be allowed to have access to the Treasury for any treasure he needs to treat his patients as long as it isn't outrageous. I am sure the Treasury Commander will have good judgment for that."

The Golden Flower Clan obviously got an invite to the Murim Alliance as both a very powerful clan as well as one of the most vital Medical Clans in the world with Clinics all over the Joseon Dynasty.

Keeping martial artists alive was vital for any organization's survival, so having a Medical Clan's support would be a huge advantage during any conflict.

A couple of days later, near a city that was close to the Imperial City, a young man on a red horse arrived. Jong In-Su wore the mask that he had when treating patients in the Valley. The mask was crimson red with 2 black eye holes that allowed him to see out but didn't allow them to see his eyes. As a doctor, it was customary to wear a large white robe that had a Cleansing Formation and Minor Defense Formation. On the left of the robe was a small embroidery of a Golden Flower.

He had quite a bit of funds from the Golden Flower Clan to live like a luxurious Young Master. He was able to put the red horse in a top-tier stable and walked towards the most luxurious restaurant in the city, the Crimson Carp Hotel.

The Crimson Carp Group was one of the three largest business organizations in the Joseon Dynasty dominating both the food and entertainment industries.

Jong In-Su entered the restaurant and felt multiple eyes begin to watch him. They saw the white robe and were interested in the doctor who entered. Sadly they couldn't identify him due to the mask over his face. Some of the people here were from some large forces in the city, they wanted to recruit him, but when their eyes moved to the Golden Flower Embroidery they had to give up.

The waiter quickly led Jong In-Su to one of the suite rooms at the top of the restaurant and took his order. Receiving the food Jong In-Su closed the curtains and began eating. He was still a human. Only Martial Rebirth Experts could live off of Ki itself.

While he ate, he pulled out the painting and began cultivating. When he first was pulled into the Myriad Heaven Reincarnation Painting his soul was upgraded to such a high-level that he was able to actually split his soul into six to do six different tasks.

He used his first soul to eat, his second soul to begin comprehending the painting to upgrade his soul, the third soul to cultivate the Five Elemental Golden Flower Ki Art, the fourth soul to cultivate the Thousand Poison Violet Tree Ki Art, the fifth soul to cultivate the Golden Heaven Body Art, and the sixth soul to cultivate the Poison Dragon Body Art.

He finished eating and got a room. He continued to cultivate until the night passed before waking up. As he once again entered a suite and ordered his breakfast he heard a disturbance on the ground floor.
