Chapter 21: Priority
Greg sorted his tasks into a mental list as he drove home. He would call Mya first. She was best at crafting the most effective routes, entry, and exit points, and would be key in ensuring their team would arrive safely at Zachariah's coordinates.
It was also an excuse to speak with Daniella. His mind was going a mile a minute, and he needed to hear her voice, to feel something of her wash over him. He dialed Mya's phone number and, just as before, Daniella answered first. Her voice filled his ears and everything else stilled.
Greg explained they'd found out Johanna was working with Zachariah, and he apologized for yet another delay. She absorbed the information and told him to take care on his way home, that she would be there, waiting for him.
Waiting for him. Against the odds, he smiled.
He relayed the same information to Mya. She had already received the coordinates from Merida and had begun her analyzation.
