Blood Red Runs the Night

1

It was the year 1413 when the Council of Agotha selected 12 members to unite the various clans of nobles and peasants that filled the woodlands and country sides with small homes and castles of fine brown stone. The council had decided unanimously to form a single unified religion, not for theology, but for power and financial gain. For this they selected Herodius, the son of prominent nobles on the grounds that he would follow orders and essentially be a pawn, which he readily agreed to for a nice sum each month in gold.

The council organized a collection of writings they carefully edited with the idea in mind that what the people wanted, they would get.

On a cold, raining night in 1413 in a large stone mansion that was to become the headquarters of the Council of Agotha, a tall man in dark robes sat over a large candelabra and drinks with Herodius and spoke as the others listened.
