Pledges : Sinful Ascension

Kokugen Kuroi, his eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity, addressed the assembled survivors. "You have pledged your loyalty, and now it is time to unveil your new names, each carrying the weight of a sin that aligns with your nature and role within this dominion."

He turned his attention to Lavinia Stardust, the Merchant. "From this moment forth, you shall be known as Avaritia, the embodiment of Greed. May your pursuit of wealth fuel the prosperity of this dominion."

Next, his gaze shifted to Marcus Flint, the Warrior. "Marcus Flint, your true name is now synonymous with Ira, Wrath. Let your fury carve a path to dominance in the battles that lie ahead."

Thalia Swiftstride, the Summoner, was next. "Thalia Swiftstride, henceforth, you embody Invidia, Envy. May your mystical prowess bring forth the green hues of longing and desire."

Cassandra Moonweaver, the Healer, received her new name. "Cassandra Moonweaver, your name is Acedia, Sloth. May your healing touch mend not only wounds but also the lethargy that hinders progress."

Felix Emberheart, the Lion Beast Person, heard her true name resonate. "Felix Emberheart, you shall be the epitome of Luxuria, Lust. Let the primal desires within you fuel your connection with the wild."

Elara Ravenshadow, the Elf Mage, received her new identity. "Elara Ravenshadow, your name is Superbia, Pride. May the ancient wisdom of the elves guide you in the pursuit of greatness."

Finally, Oberon Stormbreaker, the Phantom, was named. "Oberon Stormbreaker, your name will be Gula from now on, Gluttony. May the shadows you command consume all obstacles in your path."

As each survivor embraced their newly assigned sin, Kokugen continued, "With your sins unveiled, you shall be bestowed with ancient artifacts, attuned to your capabilities, enhancing your powers further. Follow me to the battle training court, where the true extent of your ascension shall be revealed."

As they received their artifacts – a gleaming sword for Superbia, an enchanted staff for Gula, and similarly suited items for the others – the survivors marveled at the potent gifts.

Kuroi then led them, along with Diablo, to the battle training court of the castle. The massive arena, surrounded by ancient stones and shadows, awaited their presence. "This is where you will hone your abilities and learn to channel the strength within," Kuroi proclaimed.

As they stepped onto the training grounds, the survivors felt a surge of energy, a promise of power yet untapped. The echoes of their past struggles lingered, but in the Tomb of Voidhearts, a new chapter unfolded — one of loyalty, power, and the shadows that bound them all.
