Max jumped up and grabbed it. This better be important Max said harshly. Sorry to disturb you but I think someone is trying to jump The back fence and we are heading to check it out now his security guy said. Okay I'm on my way down Mac said. Max hung up the phone and started putting his clothes back on. Max what is going on Cassidy asked rubbing her belly. Nothing you need to worry about sweetheart I'll be back in a few minutes and he gave her a kiss and left the room.

And she heard the back door shut she put her pajamas on and headed toward the kitchen. Can I see was about to turn the light on when someone put a rag of her nose and mouth and then everything went black. As Max made his way to the backyard he hurt his security team running and hollering toward the front of the house. Max knew something was wrong so he took off toward the front yard. he got there he heard five or six gunshots rang out then the sound of squealing tires and it made Max run faster to the front yard.

Max ran straight to Evan who was the head of his security team. What the hell is going on Evan and what was with the gunfire? Max you need to call the cops now. As we were heading out back to meet you we heard the front door open and we headed to the front of the house and that is when we see Nick put casting down in the backseat. She wasn't moving Max so we don't know what he did to hurt in the gunfire was us trying to shoot his back tire but it didn't work. It's okay Evan you did everything you could to save her you go ahead and call the cops I'm going to go see if she has her phone with her and with that Max turned and ran toward the house and up the stairs to the room.

Do as relief her phone was not on the stand which meant she had to have it with her. Max heard the sirens so he ran downstairs to meet the police. As Max was talking to the police Malcolm pulled up and walked over to Max and started listening to what was being said. Max can you tell me what happened after your security called you. Max related all the details to the officer. What does any of this have to do with getting Cassidy back? Why aren't you tracking her phone? I told you she must have it with her because it's not here! Max was shouting at the officer so Malcolm stepped in to calm him down. It's going to be fine Max we will get her back so let's head inside and have some coffee.

Just as Max and Malcolm set down the officer came into the living room. Max we are going to wire your phone just in case Nick makes any Ransom calls. I know guys like him and it's all about the money. Is there anything you can tell me about him? All I can tell you is what caste told me about him Max replied. It's okay Max just tell me what she told you the officer said. Cassie said they dated for a while and that he was both physically and verbally abusive to her and when she realized that all he wanted was her money she refused to marry him.
