I Know Who You Are

"WELCOME HOME! I'm delighted to see you!", his bloodshot eyes gleamed as he walk towards Diana. His pale dull-looking skin seemed like cracking under the light.

"Calvin", Diana stepped back and looked around for Hendrick, who have already sprinted out.

"You look marvelous. Vibrant and full of… life", Calvin gave a frightening smile as he draw near Diana. "Still afraid of me?", he asked while Diana back up with every step he makes.

"I can never look at you, the same way when I first met you", Diana said with fearful eyes. She have seen Calvin in this form before, and yet, his dead-looking eyes, awkward posture, and creepy leers still sends her hair raising, and palms cold and sweaty.

"I apologize, my dearest Diana. I lost out of your blood. Now you're back, I can be normal.. once again.", Calvin gazed at Diana with his terrifying eyes which seemed lustful for her blood.

"Stop right there Calvin", Diana said as he stop a few steps from her. "This is not what I want. There can never be you and I", she said.

"Why not? Your mother have already found Claudia, my creator.", Calvin's red eyes looked softer than usual. "I have fulfilled my side of the deal with Alva. We can live together now.. away from all the people.. and the wolves", Calvin gives out his open palm to Diana.

"Calvin, what makes you think that I will go with you?", Diana asked as she keep her hands to her chest.

"Why would you rather not, Diana? I can give you more than those mutts can give.", Calvin reached for Dianaz "Come with me", he whispered when suddenly he stopped and dropped his jaw with eyes wide open.

"Ca.. Calvin?", Diana stuttered as she watch Calvin froze all of a sudden. Then, in a few seconds, he turned into ashes floating in the air leaving Diana dumbfounded.

As the ashes subside, a face of a woman submerged with a smirk of triumph. "Well deserved, isn't it my daughter?", Alva said as she drop a golden sword on the floor.

"What did you do? Wha… why??", Diana asked in confusion. For several years now, Alva and Calvin have worked in alliance. Calvin's death in the hands of Alva is something Diana didn't anticipated.

"I should have done that earlier. I know how his presence tremendously frighten my beloved daughter", Alva walked through the vanishing ashes then held Diana's face both of her palms. "So now, you won't have to worry about your stalker vampire", Alva tapped Diana's face gently and squinted her eyes.

"Could you be honest for once?", Diana replied and stared sullenly at Alva.

"Fine", Alva rolled her eyes and folded her arms across her chest. "I have no more use for him.", Alva replied.

"I know who you are", Diana glared at the woman she treated as a real mother all these times.

"You do?", Alva made a muffled laugh. "Of course Diana. I am your mother. Don't be silly", she said.

"I know who you are… Tamara", Diana said as she furrow her brows.

Alva was stunned after hearing what Diana just called her. She looked fixedly at Diana and gave her an awkward smile. "I haven't heard that name for years", Alva said.

"I thought hard and connected all the missing pieces. I didn't even put a lot of effort to find out the truth. In fact, they just all come to me unknowingly", Diana said. "Let me guess, you were in a relationship with Viktor when he imprinted? Sadly, you were then left alone heartbroken. Then one day, Viktor's greed led him amiss. It was a chance for you to get back at him by cursing him and his entire bloodline, with killing the Luna as the only way to break the curse. The revenge of a broken heart.", Diana added.

"You are really smart, Diana. But still, not that smart", Alva smiled ear to ear. "My lover isn't Viktor.. it's actually Karin", she said.

"You and Karin?", Diana asked.

"I thought, she would fight the imprint. She didn't. With one touch, Viktor and Karin immediately shared one kiss that roughly broke my heart into bits and pieces.. From then on, she forgot all about me in an instant, like I never existed. All of a sudden, a stranger like Viktor became the reason of the sparkles in her eyes. Our relationship was thrown out like garbage, when in fact I and Karin shared so many years of togetherness.", Alva replied. "The way to get back at her was when Vik knocked on my door. I thought she'll come running back to me after Vik's attempt to kill her on the first full moon. Instead, she begged on her knees with tears on her eyes for me to remove the curse. Something that hardened my heart.", she added.

"Oh well darling, I'm way past that sweet revenge of mine. It has been done long before. So, do you have better questions for me?", Alva asked while Diana gather all her thoughts and questions for Alva.

"THIS IS YOUR PLAN?", Scott frowned at Lucas with Kate by his side. Parked a few blocks away from the Villa Estates while the sun is about to retire for the day, Lucas brought Kate to be part of their plans in looking for Diana.

"Hell yea! This will work Alpha. Right, Kat?", Cory said while Lucas gives him a thumbs up.

"It's Kate. Ugh.", Kate shook her head side to side as she move closer to Lucas. "So… I'll just knock on the door.. convince them to let me go in, distract everyone, while you bunch of trespassers barge in the Woodsworth Residence.", Kate clicked her tongue. "Nice plan.", Kate put into detail about their agenda for the night. "Why don't you just knock and ask for her?", Kate asked.

"I told you, they keep refusing. Maybe, if you're the one at the door, they'll let you in", Lucas replied.

"I just want to know she's safe.", Scott said.

"I'm sure you also want to take her out of there, wouldn't you?", Kate asked.

"Of course! She's our Luna.", Cory said as Lucas cleared his throat and glared at Cory.

"Luna? What's a Luna?", Kate knitted her brows in wonder.

"We should get going", Scott insisted as they walk in.

'Does she know?', Scott mindtalked Lucas asking if Kate have a single knowledge about vampires, wolves and nagualli.

'Not a thing. Better that way.', Lucas replied. He made sure to keep Kate in the dark so she can act natural and won't freak out. However, he's concerned that involving Kate might be a bad idea.

As the group enter the Villa, they heard long exhaust sounds coming from motorcycles speeding up. Scott turned his head as three motorcycles stopped by the pavement. He couldn't break his gaze as he seethe directly on the guy he sensed.

"Roman Brooke", he uttered in displeasure.

Roman removed his helmet, fixed his hair and replied, "Scott Devlin".
