Scott Devlin, the bold Alpha of the Devlin clan was so disappointed at his adoptive parents to have him forced to marry a complete stranger, and above all professions, a doctor, whom he hates. He was reluctant to attend the wedding because he thinks the bride isn’t willing to marry him too. Besides, he is devoted in finding his Luna. His siblings managed to take him away so he can escape his fate since Scott can’t say no to their father. While Scott is enjoying his escapade in his friend’s private island, he noticed a faint fragrant scent that lured him towards the bar. His attention directed to a brunette woman wearing a red fitted maxi dress, with mesmerizing sapphire eyes. He can’t help but approach Diana who was sitting at the bar. “Finally, my Luna”, Scott whispered to himself. Little that he know, the Luna he imprinted on is not what she seems to be. **********

He Took What’s Mine

"You think, I'll believe anything you say?", Scott scoffed at the horrible idea. "…when all the words that come out from your mouth are nothing but trash and lies", he said with full conviction. Fearfully, Ofir tugged on Scott's leg as the two confront each other.

On several occasions, Scott have considered himself as the cursed Alpha wolf after seaming all the hints, dèja vus, and sudden flashbacks that appears right before his eyes. And if it were true, Scott is puzzled with the cruel coincidence that the imprint may have been the key to summoning the lycan within him. The heat that coursed through his body, the pins and needles that pricked under his skin, the tremendous heat that he felt from deep down, were substantially real realizing it was a beast taking over his body. Just like his father.

'Is this what my father had?', Scott asked himself.

However, what Tamara told him didn't suprised him at all. What's more heartwrenching and eye-opening is that Diana knew the truth all along and she didn't tell him. She ran away as she contemptibly lacked courage to choose him against all odds. He have given his mind and body to one woman he believed deserves all the love in this world, and yet, she left him without a word.

"It doesn't matter if you would rely on my truths."

"I have no plans on convincing you, because the curse I've bestowed on your bloodline has been done. And will never cease to exist until I say so", Alva gritted her teeth at Scott. She knew there's no other way to hurt him aside from hitting the Alpha straight to his heart using Diana. "Believe it or not, truth shall be told that the first time you laid your eyes on Diana, sparked my curse as you will constantly fear the full moon, and you will struggle not to chase your Luna like your father have had for Karin", Alva seethe as she glower in steaming anger.

"Is that so?", Scott refused to believe Tamara when all he knew is his undying love for Diana and not merely getting deadly urges against her. "But how is Diana connected to us? ", he asked.

"Unbelievable!", Tamara clapped her palms clasping it together. "The imprint is truly unselfish. Diana asked everything about you too at first, and did not cared or bothered to ask anything about her own history", Tamara sarcastically laughed at Scott.

"Diana Woodsworth is none other than the daughter of your father's physician..Remember him?", Alva smiled ear to ear as she mock Scott who dropped his jaw after hearing her response. "You mother would often sing her lullabyes on her lap whenever she comes along with her father during his visits in your home", she added.

Scott lowered his gaze and turned his eyes back to Tamara. "It can't be…", he said in disbelief as he relive the painful memories between his father and the physician. Tormenting Viktor with different experiments and failed treatments, Scott remembered the deafening wails, sleepless nights and the deep scratches on the floor while the physician watch his father suffer. Refusing to give his father the cure, Scott is convinced that the physician gave him no mercy and chance to live a happy life with his family. He can't seem to remember Diana from his childhood. Prolly, his father have kept him out of the house for his disciplinary actions so many times in long hours.

"It was not intentional, but she was the strongest child to withstand my spells to become my personal cure back when I was fatally injured by your lycan of a father.. Too bad Diana won't ever see her true powers from the power suppression I've casted on her. Though, she's still lucky that I made her blood so strong and unique that it turns even the strongest and vicious monster to a feeble creature", Tamara said while Scott clenched his jaw staring intently at her.

"As for the Lockwoods, her blood calms the lycan like a baby in a cradle. If only Dr. Daniel agreed to give his only daughter to Viktor, your mother would still be alive", Tamara said as he darken her eyes.

"My father knew?", Scott asked

"Your father's desperation to live and fear of the full moon, made him do so many bad things.", Tamara squinted her eyes and folded her arms across her chest. "He wanted to take my precious daughter for himself… for his only son and son's children. The doctor escaped just in time. But your father can't resist the call of the full moon". She sucked in between her teeth as she exhale sharply. "He eventually killed Alva, and your mother", she said while Scott held his breath as he swallow a lump in his throat.

'Does Diana know that my father killed her mother?', Scott thought as he felt awful for the acts of his father. He knew how Diana longs for a mother's love, something she knew nothing about. How would he face his Luna if the person who killed the real Alva Woodsworth is his father?

"What did my father ever did to you for us to deserve this?", Scott asked.

"He took what's mine", Tamara's eyes widen as she scoffed at Scott's question. "He took Karin", Tamara said as she pit her hands to the side, clenching it tightly. "I've always hated the moon goddess", Tamara said as her clenched fists trembled. "She have had obvious unfair preferential treatment to her sons and daughters where she only gave all the good things to her favorite shapeshifters.. wolves.", she said.

"You can transform anytime to dogs with glistening fur. She fills up your strengths when the moon is full. And the most wicked gift she gave among you, the imprint on a mate which I find an absolute nonsense", she pursed her lips as she exhaled slowly. "What about us? What about the creatures who first saw inspiration and affection to a wolf? Don't we have the right to be happy too?", Tamara said.

"You loved… my mother?", Scott asked as he can't remember Tamara coming into picture between her and his mother.

"We loved each other!.", Tamara hissed at Scott. "When she imprinted, I lost my happiness. I lost everything I have", she said. "That's why I casted a curse. I made sure that Viktor Lockwood will suffer as he feel every bone and flesh in his body burn in pain.. similar to what you just had", Tamara replied.

"Oh right, you can't remember. Would you like to see how great of an Alpha you are to your clan, to your… brothers.. best friends and most specially to your precious Luna?", Tamara smirked as she lifted her palm facing up where a dark cloud suddenly appeared.
