Becky told me a story about a kid named Rose. Rose was a kid who was bullied. She was in the same classroom as Becky is in now.
As Becky tells me the story I vision the story in my head.
"Why is she so fucking retarded?" Bully #1 asks.
"She's a special education kid." Bully #2 replied.
"One day she went for a walk and a car came and it…" Becky narrates.
"What happened, Becky?" I ask.
"She died. The car hit her, and she was run over. She was rushed to the hospital." Becky sobs.
Becky sobs on my shoulder.
I rubbed Becky's shoulder.
"It's okay. I mean it wasn't your fault." I say.
"No, but it was the people like you." Becky replied.
"Wait. A group of general education kids killed him?" I ask.
Becky nods.
"Oh wow." I whisper.
"The reason why I met you is that you remind me of him. That's why we have to end the feud." Becky says.
"But why now and not then? I mean people change as the year goes by, right?" I ask.
"That's why you have to help me." Becky states.
"I'm sorry. With what?" I ask.
"The feud. I mean I don't like the school and the rules. If we end the feud, then we can be a normal school. Will you help me?" Becky replied.
"Sure, why not." I said.
"Oh, thank you October!" Becky squealed.
Becky hands me a bag.
"It's something to change into. I better get going before someone finds me. Bye." Becky says.
Becky leaves the bathroom.
I opened the bag. There was a note inside. It reads:
October,
I know we just met and you think I'm crazy, but the school's out of hand. I need your help to get it back in control.
Becky
P.S. Thanks for making me feel like a regular girl.
At the bottom of the bag there was a shirt.
I held the bag in my hand.
