Her hands tightened in lieu of the concern she was showing on her face.
Nay took a breath and raised her eyes back onto the mercenary. Yet, rather than giving him a confident look, she pleaded for his help instead.
"Haa…." The middle-aged man shook his head before turning his eyes from Theo's lifeless body to the woman he called for. "It might surprise you, but I can make some sense of his state," he said while beckoning at Lauren to come closer. "Stabilize him."
