Chaos has come to Orario (A Seven Deadly Sins X Danmachi SI story)

This is a tale of ancient times, a time before the human and non-human races were forever divided. An era of power and glory, the 'Days of the Dungeon'. A legend so old and mythical, it has been lost in the flow of time. During this age, greater beings descended upon the lower realms to find entertainment. They roamed the surface of the Mortal Realm, bestowing blessings upon whom they pleased, which gave those fortunate few the chance to transcend the limits of their flesh, and taste the experience of an existence beyond what they could conceive. These greater beings called themselves 'Gods', and their children whom they bestowed their blessings upon were called 'adventurers'. These brave mortals strove to become something greater than the rest of their kin, by facing the trials of the treacherous and ever perilous Dungeon. And in the centuries that followed, many found glory where others found only their demise. But there was 'one' adventurer, who sought something that even the so-called gods could not imagine. A mortal boy who fought for what he stood for to the end, and achieved something beyond anything that anyone of that world could dream of. A child that faced the greatest of tribulations, and came out above all who had preceded him. And he was known...as the King of Chaos. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Join my Patreon: Patreon/ Vulkizaro_Zoromi

The Longing Wife

Freya pressed her face to her mirror as her breathing became heavier and heavier with each passing moment. Her hair swayed about her face as her breath fogged up while her cheeks flushed. Her eyes glittered with unbridled desire as she gazed at the soul in the Dungeon she so vigorously longed for, a person whose face and warmth she wanted to feel more and more as time went on.

Every time that beautiful soul flared, every time it grew in intensity, it stoked the fire of passion and desire in her even more, to the point she could not control herself, and her fingers snaked downwards more and more, ever so closer to her heat. But before she made contact, she froze and clasped her hands before shaking her head and then patting her face as if to put out the heat that had gathered in it.

Her Odr was a man of patience and control who exhibited great discipline and control over his desires. Her being unable to cuff her own would undoubtedly disappoint him as per his standards, and that she could not afford. To teach her humility, fate had taught her patience over the extremely long time she'd waited for her beloved to come to her, so she was definitely capable of waiting longer. In no way would she dishonour him by trying to seek pleasure outside of his doings, even to herself.

Once she'd taken a few deep breaths and cleared the haze from her head, she returned to gazing at her Odr as his soul sang with power and grace. The Dark part of Chaos had taken over the Light at his will and was now fuelling his actions as his Familia members left him to fight the strongest Monster Rex known to them on his own. She'd been watching him for quite some time now, and she'd become especially surprised at just how many leaps he'd taken to greater heights since she last saw him. Even for him, this kind of progress was a surprise and she wondered what it was that was driving him this far.

She knew by know that his growth was largely connected to his desire for strength but there had to be more to it now. Because she was one of the few people capable of seeing it...there was a 'taint' upon his being. And not the bad kind of taint either. The luminescence she would find in her own kind was now beginning to appear on his soul. She'd known ever since she first saw him that he had a divine seed in him, the potential to ascend his mortal flesh and become the highest of existences.

But for it to bloom so suddenly like this and at so early an age, he must have done something, connected to the seed somehow. Perhaps she had some idea of exactly what it was. Kratos was as much of an Olympian name as it could get and Lyze seemed so very fond of it...perhaps he'd taken that name for himself. It was truly a shame she was no Olympian herself, otherwise she could have gotten more information through her own Arcanum. But she doubted any Olympian either down here in the mortal realms or up in Olympus was aware of their newborn-to-be.

The only gods she knew were aware of his true nature was herself and Loki...it truly was a strange and ironic thing. Yggdrasil Goddesses who were harbouring an upcoming Olympian. Those without the finer details would most certainly think that they would be using him for their favour. After all, her own Pantheon and that of Olympus had long been at contest with one another, or at the very least the god-kings of both Pantheons. The Olympians always did seem to come out on top most of the time when it came to victories, and Zeus had taken care to rub it in Odin's face plenty.

The only form of success they'd had over the Olympians in recent times was down here, where both she and Loki had driven out the Zeus and Hera Familia. And now here was another Olympian who would at some point join Olympus, growing under their nurturing and their care. A part of her really wanted to see what happened when the drama did at some point break out...the other part was completely terrified not for herself but for him. Lyze was strong, but she wasn't sure if he could handle the tug of war between gods.

But then again, he did have that mysterious wellspring of power in him that seemed to guard him at all times. She did truly wonder why she had not seen it at first since the day she began watching him. In all the time she had been quietly observing him, he'd felt her gaze and had known exactly who it was that was looking at him, but that had not been on his own merits, at least not in full.

It was because that entity had also seen her...and every time she looked at it through Lyze's soul, it stared straight back at her, even now. And while she herself blinked multiple times, not once did it take its eyes off of her. Not that she could see any physical eyes but her time with the boy had made her get used to the things she'd feel around Chaos, and that had been refined during the time Lyze had released it to subdue Ottar when the boy had come to visit her.

Chaos was watching her, watching everyone, always being ever so vigilant to protect its host. It regarded everyone as a threat and was just simply a sleeping beast, lying in wait to devour any nuisance it could encounter, or Lyze encountered.

...

Freya sighed and leaned her head in one palm while she continued to stare at Lyze. Her heart ached with love and passion, so much that she'd been neglecting her Familial duties lately, not that there was much to begin with. But she'd spent most of her time in this tower just watching him that people, not least of all her own Familia, had begun to wonder where she'd gone. Some were pleased that she was not causing a nuisance and was generally just out of everybody's way.

But she couldn't care less. All that mattered was the time she spent with her Odr, whether it was with him in the flesh, or watching him grow in his glory, no doubt on his way to becoming the most incredible being she and anybody else in this reality would ever have the pleasure of seeing. And did she ache for that day to come, more than he would ever know.

In the corner on a specially carved stand in her room hooted the owl that Lyze had created, Moloch as she had named it. It ruffled some of its feathers while it slept since it was after all daylight and owls were nocturnal creature. She smiled in giddiness at how cute it looked to her. When screech owls had their eyes closed, they looked very much like cats...or at least they reminded her of them in some small curious way.

She looked back at Lyze to see him and the Loki Familia, now tearing into Balor with barrages of spells as Lyze in his Demon form rushed over with Excalibur, flying around the monster rex with tendrils of Darkness hovering around him as he dealt blow after blow to Balor, raining down black fire on the monster while slashing at it with his sword. She marvelled at how these different forms of his seemed to give him such a big boost in power all the time. For him to leave wounds in this monster rex when he was not doing as much before made her wonder if any children he had would inherit the same abilities.

Her heart fluttered as her hand reached down to her abdomen, roughly where her womb was located. The revelation of him possibly having the ability to manipulate her usual nature, to make her fertile and ready for child-rearing, alongside the beautiful dream she'd had the night he came to visit her, made her want those children she saw in her dream so much more sooner than the time she estimated it would come to be. She wanted those dear little creatures almost as much as she wanted him.

But alas...patience. A virtue, for good things only came to those who waited. And she'd gotten pretty good at waiting.

She then looked down at her attire and pondered to herself over such clothing. As a Goddess of Beauty as much as anything else, it was in her nature to be admired by others within her own limits to be set forth. But she knew Lyze held much self-respect for himself as well a possessive nature even if he himself didn't know it yet. Inevitably, as was the way of men, he would become annoyed eventually at her turning people's heads.

Now that he had pretty much at this point accepted her love as her intuition told her, and he was slowly but surely offering his in return, she had a duty to uphold and honour it.

"It would not do for a taken woman to be wearing such revealing clothing." She tapped her finger on her cheek. "After all, my body should be for my husband to enjoy alone...a shame. I've treasured this outfit for so long now...but if old habits must die so that I be a better wife, then along must they die."

She got up and turned in the direction of her closet when a flash of blonde hair in her mirror caught her attention and she saw the little Sword Princess run across the ground while Balor was swiping above his head to catch Lyze who was repeatedly attacking the spot where Gareth had plunged his axe in. The little girl came up to the base of the monster rex where those spiked membranes were and she began slashing at them, although her sword bounced off of the hard scales, even with Lyze's boost to her strength and magic.

Freya examined the little girl she knew to be Lyze's definite love. She had no shame in admitting she'd watched the interactions between her Odr and this girl, and though it slightly irked her that the girl had gotten his first kiss, it cooled off immediately. After all, she'd had her firsts with someone else so she would be imposing double standards on their dynamic. And considering her own numerous trysts, as false and empty as they were, she had no ground to speak from when it came to this matter.

Her Odr was a powerful man, and powerful men naturally tended to have many women by their side as per her experience in this world. She wasn't sure what it was like in his old world, but Lyze did not seem to be the type who thought of anything wrong with multiple women. But regardless, as the experienced one and the most womanly, Freya would personally vet any female that tried to get inside his embraces...and so far, the Sword Princess was as good a choice as any. When the girl was older, Freya would try to make contact with her and show her the ropes.

For now she supposed, she could let the two enjoy being children. Puberty seemed to be falling fast on her Odr considering how much he'd grown in just the last few weeks alone but the girl still had plenty of time to go. Like always, Freya would wait patiently, while ever so meticulously making sure that the beautiful future she'd envisioned came to be.

Freya threw open her closet door and began sifting through outfits, from expensive dresses, to more moderate gowns, to casual clothing...and some rather scandalous things too. Those she would definitely not wear except for him when their time together came. She paused as she realized she didn't know what type of clothing or colours he did like. She rubbed her chin as she tried to think it through.

She knew he had a love for dark clothes since he was always wearing black, but she had seen little bits of red there and about on him. And he was wearing a red chestplate now as well..., red and black was almost always a good combination. Her current, normal outfit was actually a mixture of black and red. And considering the amount of clothing she had in here, she was bound to have something of the same colour scheme but a bit more modest.. She returned to sorting through them in hopes to find the perfect outfit.

...

She heard her door open a few minutes later and the of sound large boots walking across her floor confirmed to her that Ottar had visited her for some reason or another.

"What is it?" She asked, not turning to look at him as she continued her hunt.

"Our informants in the entertainment district have just sent word." The Boaz said. "Phryne Jamil has fully recovered from her injuries and her mental breakdown. She has gathered a band of Amazons and is on her way to the Dungeon, most probably waiting to set a trap."

"She truly has gone mad then." Freya mumbled as she shook her head. "Is Ishtar so keen to outdo me that she takes in these lunatics?...well it's not so much a surprise. She's the type that takes anything from anyone inside anywhere just for any small gain."

Ottar coughed as he ignored Freya's dig at Ishtar's...ahem, side-hustle.

"What are your orders Lady Freya?" He asked. "Shall we ambush them in turn?"

"Hmm." Freya drummed her fingers on the door to her closet before she looked at him. "I've been having second thoughts."

"Second thoughts?" Ottar's ears turned outwards as he tilted his head in confusion.

"To begin with, an ambush on their end is a lost cause." Freya said. "The Loki Familia would defeat Ishtar's brood anytime, and my Odr's power has multiplied in just the short time alone since he last saw me. He was more than enough to deal with that green beast the last time he encountered it and saved the little Sword Princess. Now, he's enough to slaughter the entire Ishtar Familia by himself, especially if he was able to hold his ground against so many of my own children in my courtyard when he was so much weaker. I doubt even Allen could be a serious threat to him now."

Ottar said nothing as he knew the cat-man would not take kindly to that statement even if he wouldn't outright voice it to Freya. Most likely the beastman who prided himself on his speed so much would go after the boy to establish who was stronger once and for all. Ottar already had his hands full controlling the other executives on the subject of Lyzof Keele. Freya's apparent attraction the prodigy had become full-blown news amongst her Familia and Heith was healing more and more people now due to the frustrations they were taking out on one another and also trying to earn Freya's eye in a similar manner to how Lyze was doing it, though needless to say, it didn't work at all.

Freya had fallen in deep puppy love with the Heir of Chaos.

"We'll let the Loki Familia deal with them themselves unless situations and further developments demand otherwise." Freya said as she looked at Ottar. "But all the same, do not lose sight of that deformed creature. I have full confidence that my Odr will win that battle...but we can never be too careful."
