Chapter 12 "Space and Farming"

Night already fell when Ruan Wen reach back to the city, she was worried because she did not know where to go next. She had planned the whole day but got sidetracked with the whole brooch hunting back at the antique street, and deviated from her schedule.

Ruan Wen was counting on the university dormitory to stay during this holiday, unfortunately by the time she arrived there the dormitory was already closed!

It was also the main reason she was hurrying with her transactions during the day!

Although the university dormitory is open for the students all year round, they close their gates earlier than normal during holidays!

Ruan Wen didn't particularly want to go to the original owner's mother's house, she wasn't ready to face any of the people related to the original owner. Even if she have all the memories left by the original owner, Ruan Wen was not comfortable calling someone else mother! Especially when Mrs. Bai can be barely called a mother to her. At the very least the original owner's father occasionally sits down and visits her, but her mother, if not for her grandparents, would have forgotten about her altogether!

Since it was already night, she thought that it will be hard to find a free room right away. She considered going to a hotel but what would be the chances that she could get a room?

She lives in the imperial capital one of the busiest places in the country, most hotels here are fully booked with travelers, tourists, and otherwise. It would be very hard to get a room without a reservation, and although her mother is married in the Bai family, she herself does not have any connections that would allow her to get a room in a hotel in an instant!

Moreover, eveb if she finds one it would be very expensive! She can't have her money wasted for that, her funds were limited!

So with no other choice in mind, Ruan Wen just drove back to her rented warehouse. She figured it would be relatively safe and she can always just pop in her space if there is any trouble.

The place there was large enough that she sure she would be able to park the truck inside, she planned to just station there and then go to her space to rest! Anyways, she also needs to sort out all the stuff she bought earlier and pratice too.

There was no one around when she arrived at the warehouse rental place. Luckily the truck was able to fit inside the warehouse with enough free space to spare and she safely locked the rolling steel doors down.

After securing everything around, Ruan Wen entered the car and finally went in her space. She did not forget to set up an alarm for when she needs to get out the space. Ruan Wen didn't want to lose track of time in there, she still has some delivery coming tomorrow and and places to go early the next morning.

In the space, Ruan Wen went straight for the warehouse. She dumped most of the purches there to arrage to later. She didn't mind it much the produce she placed inside the warehouse since it has a static time effect and took all the seeds and seedlings that she purchased.

Earlier that noon at the antique street she manage to manifest her mental power through mind perception when looking for the brooch, she wanted to further exercise her mental ability more because she was aware how powerful not to mention dangerous untrained psychic abilities can be.

And so, after choosing an appropriate space for planting, Ruan Wen cleared and loosened the soil both with the use of physical and her mental ability until she was exhausted.

She took a break whenever she felt herself mental almost drained, and drink some linquan water along with some spiritual fruits to snack on.

She marked the places for which plant the seedling will go and made separate plots for each seeds she have.

Satisfied with her work, Ruan Wen started to plant her seelings and seeds one by one carefully. After replanting the seedling and planting the seeds into each plots, Ruan Wen took some Lingquan water and diluted it with the water she got from the river to water the her plants.

I didn't know whether it was just my imagination or me being biased but Ruan Wen felt like her newly planted babies sprouted and grown in an instant!

Ruan Wen wasn't tired yet even after all the work she had done. She decided to go to the library and study some of the teachings left there after cleaning herself up.

So far the only practice she is currently doing was breathing exercises. Although Ruan Wen wanted to practice martial arts, she knows she still needs to continue to forge her body first before going for another step with her cultivation.

Lately she have been particularly enjoying learning more about pharmacy and alchemy from the library. Her background in research was a real help in her studies, although she found that there were alot of contradiction here and there, it was fascinated!
