System Tutorial

Chapter 3

I've been magically teleported to an open green field with a few hills in front of him. The smell was that of nature on a hot day, it looked like earth! Looking all around when I stood up, I seen a small village in the distance. But the look of the village was very strange. Structures that I didn't recognize.

'Are you still there?' I asked Gabe inside of my head.

'It is very tough for me to hold a conversation in his position, so please only ask me questions when you desperately need too.' Gabe answered apologetic with a struggling sound.

I quickly sat back down seeing no danger and mediated to find him again. Then notifications began flashing in my view.

*System Admin handshake with System-Tutorial successful.

System-Tutorial: "Congratulations, you have begun your tutorial on your new powers. For the next 10 years, you will be helped by the residence of this land to become stronger. Please give us a few moments while we test you for extra hidden gifts."

System Admin handshake, these are relative understood terms for a computer geek. Were there different Systems then, with different ranks? Well, no matter what this place is a whole lot better than Hell right? Ten years, I better hurry and become powerful.

"Stats" I stated.

I closed my eyes. 'Stats' I said in my head this time getting the text that came up.

<Innate Abilities

[Sinner's Immortality] You are Immortal! At least your brain is. You can never lose consciousness.

'Elder-God Spark'… When I told Gabe of this, he had pushed himself forward to become a genie in a bottle for the rest of my life.

"Elder-God Spark" I spoke, but nothing happened. So, I tried to pretend I was on a computer, and I mentally clicked on the Elder-God Spark link. Boom more text.

X1 [Elder-God Spark] -This used in its raw form, can create a new unique ability to your specification. The stronger the spark, the better the ability.

'So, I can create my own ability. There're levels… there's even dungeon's… So, Susej left me a gift that I could get an edge on this system maybe.' I thought about maybe asking Gabe about it, but I could tell that he was meditating his thought from the pain of being crunched. The more focus he gave me the harder his struggle and more painful it was.

A new ability… Something I could choose… Earth, the system has never seen earth, yet us earthlings had created our own systems with computers. So, I should think of something that is popular on earth. These writers sat there and tried to come up with ideas that would be the best. The only movies or shows I could think about with RPG in them mostly came from anime. I quickly pulled up my google in my head and did a search of anime's… then I began going through them.

'Naruto!' there's an idea. Wait… I can google still! How is that possible? Then a massive headache hit me, and I dropped to a knee clasping my head in my hands from the pain that hit me. Then it was gone. I was flat on the ground… I don't remember falling… I sat up and was surprised to see another alien in front of me about the same size as me bending down looking at me.

I slowly moved away from the system alien. "What do you want?" I asked hoping this thing wasn't aggressive.

"You can see me?" A female voice questioned. This one was smaller than the others and it had a tint of green clouds in its galaxy looking face.

I nodded my head. She stood up and took a step back. Then she raised her hand at me, and notifications began flashing before my eyes.

*Congratulations, System Tutorial has analyzed your soul, and thus giving you what you have already experienced in the past.

*Because of your soul's age, and your continued skills in a leader position you have earned a <Permanent Rank> #High-Lord (You have the mind of an experienced leader!)

*Because of your #Ragnorok title you shall receive a <Permanent Ability> [Infinite Inventory]

*Being the first person to enter a Tutorial with no items or equipment. You have unlocked a hidden class <Battle Monk> (As the first one to unlock this class, the class rank is Emperor Grandmaster.)

I felt my status change as if it was printed on my body all over. I didn't quite know what that meant. I knew that I was a "High Lord", and I knew I got it because of all my video game parties. But I was old, I was around 103yrs old. I quickly concentrated on the ability [Infinite Inventory]. Understanding was my reward; I knew that it was what it read. And only one other God and I have this ability. Which God I was knew not.

I opened my eyes and watched the greenish System with curiosity. "Are you Sentient too? Um, like the others?" I felt like I was offending the creature without meaning too.

"How is it that you can see me?" System Tutorial asked.

I believed System-Admin gave me the ability, but I didn't think it was wise to state that.

"You are an interesting soul to ever enter the Tutorial. I've never experienced that word before… Sentient. I understand it, yet it is a complicated word that is usually beyond your human race. I supposed I should gift you for your intelligence." The System seemed to pause to think.

This was my moment, I understood that this 'System' was the real deal, I should explore this as much as I can. But what could I say, what would work to my benefit. I couldn't think of anything, so I did the second-best thing and just started talking.

"How about, Tutorial Champion! You become my sponsor and give me everything to be successful. Or are you not allowed to?" I blurted out, hoping the last question was the key to cheat.

"Sponsor… Champion… This has never been done. I have no need for a champion." She stated, but she did answer my question! "If you can dive deeper than the current record for the tutorial Dungeon before the end of your tutorial, I will consider your request." She continued, then in a flash she was gone.

Then my entire environment changed, but the new environment I was standing in was putting us all on the wall at a right degree turn. I felt sick. It took a couple seconds for myself to realize the gravity was holding me down. The teleportation was not a fun ride. Standing all around me were a bunch of young men and women all looking like they were at the end of their teenage years. Armed to the teeth all in medieval gear and a few looking like casters as well. They were all staring at me.

I was naked! I felt the heat rise to my head, but I did my best to remain neutral. I'm 103! I might be in an early twenties body now, but I had gotten over being naked around people a long time ago. I looked to a young lady that appeared to have Christian Markings about her skintight Robe she was wearing. She gave me a shy smile.

"Don't supposed any of you have an extra set of clothes? Or weapons maybe?" I asked getting a few shocked faces.

"Is your inventory empty too?" the lady I was looking at asked me. Then someone repeated that I asked for clothing and a large group began laughing. I mean these guys are all dressed up, and they are laughing at me. But This was new waters, and I was surprised to them all. Not the fact that we are in some strange land, a grass land. There were mountains in the distance, and tons of forests all around. Down the hill behind us was a small village, maybe a mile out.

"How do I check that?" I asked interested how this new system was very much like gaming back 0n earth, or my heaven world.

The young lady began laughing with everyone else, but was giving me a look of apology, but she couldn't hold back so she turned around to hide it. Then a loud booming voice coming from above us the System Tutorial was floating in the air above us.

"Welcome to the Tutorial, while it isn't required to complete the tutorial it is highly recommended. As always, you will all be teleported to the tutorial dungeon. There is a special skill that is offered to those that dive the deepest within their first go before they teleport back to the village.

The tutorial looked around at everyone then stopped looking at my direction, I couldn't see eyes on the figure, but I knew they were concentrating at me. So, I mouthed to her that I would be her Champion, then I blew a kiss.

Looking around I could see no 'one else could see her, but they were all looking at me again whispering.

"Does nobody have a weapon I could borrow, or some armor?" I asked, hoping that these humans and elves and dwarves could help.

"Sure man, here take my sword." A man said from behind me, so I Began to turn. But then everything went into slow motion, and I felt a freezing chill that ignited my nerves and I felt it burn through my back and out my stomach. Losing my consciousness, I looked down to see a sword sticking out of my stomach. I then looked back to the one that had stabbed me, a messy blond hair man with very crooked teeth smiled at me as I lost my balance and vision.

*Congratulations you have become a record holder for the first one to die in the Tutorial. While you are the record holder you shall have the innate passive skill <Runt Survival>.

As I closed my eyes, this message waited for me behind my eye lids. Wondering what Runt Survival was, I was surprised to know that I already knew what it was. I would receive a buff 10 seconds before I should die and slow that time down to where I was nearly as fast as the flash. This is a way OP skill!

I opened my eyes and looked around; I was no longer in the grass field I was in some kind of dark cave. I was alone, and it was very dark. Only glowing moss, I could see here and there pointing out the mouth of the cave I was in.

'Gabe R you there?' I asked in my head, and just thinking his name I was able to see him in my mind's eyes struggling against the restraints of nothingness. He had to keep his focus on the realm trying to collapse in on him to answer me.

'It is very difficult for me to see or understand anything, we must figure out how to get me more room in here. I don't know how long I can hold it back.' Then I felt as if the communication was cut from his side as he focused on the collapsing realm behind him.

What about the Elder god spark thing! I concentrated on the skill and mentally clicked on it.

*Congratulations on such a high reward! Think your new skill or ability into existence!

I didn't know exactly how to do this, so I did it like I was talking to Gabe. 'I wish for an unlimited…' I didn't know what exactly it was that was pushing on him. 'Realm, Space? So, Gabriel could be more comfortable!' I could hear my future self-telling me off, I had the bad habit of reacting to my instincts and jumping into adventure.

I waited… Maybe I wasn't supposed to say it like that? Maybe I should check if it's still there. 'Stats' I stated reading the new window popping up.

[Sinner's Immortality] You are immortal! At least your brain is. You can never lose consciousness.

[Runt Surival] *activates 10 seconds before your death!

Well, this wasn't fair, the ability was gone… and I could see Gabriel still struggling to stay alive.

When I opened my eyes, I found that I was in the grass field away from which notifications sounded off in my head. So, I sat down and read the notifications.

*Congratulations, you have unlocked a secret class by being dead when you entered the Tutorial dungeon for the first time. You have received the hidden class [Necromancer]

*Congratulations, since you received the hidden skill [Necromancer] while being a lord you have unlocked another hidden rare class [Necromancer Lord].

*Congratulations, since you received the rare class [Necromancer Lord] as a Ragnarök candidate you have unlocked another hidden legendary class [Death God]

Hah, why would I want to be a necromancer. Death… I can't stand the smell of death. I swiped them away mentally and checked the last notifications.

*Congratulations, since you have received more than one hidden class, you have unlocked the ability [Class equip]. Congratulations on your future classes.

[Class Equip]: Now this was an ability I could get behind. I could switch which class I'm using. I could see how this would be very useful. Especially with all these new classes I got.

Before I could ponder more about this ability, a pop sounded in front of me, and I opened my eyes to see System Tutorial looking at me.

"Ready to take me as a champion?" I asked, hoping I might have lucked to the max.

"While you hold the record for first dead in the tutorial, Our deal stemmed on the deepest dive in the first round before death." The sweet female voice brought a cuteness factor pretty high on this system alien.

"Not fair, I came back alive in the dungeon. You teleported me out too soon. How is it that others can use their abilities and skills, yet I cannot? How is this fair?" I demanded; I of course was bluffing my ass off. But the system made a gesture as if thinking about what I said.

"Sinner's Immortality is highly unfair!" She demanded back at me. But she did consider it.

"Okay, teleport me back and if I die again then it will count." I demanded. Again, the alien seemed to think about this.

"I shall allow this, only this one time. Heart stops beating and your teleported out." She stated as she flicked her wrist and once again teleported me back to the dungeon.
