The next morning, Kai and Victoria were in a rush as it was already 8 o'clock, and Victoria needed to get ready by nine.

"Ugh! This is all because of you. Who told you to have morning energy every day? Not only that, but you also had the nerve to bump into me with your morning excitement!" Viscount Victoria exclaimed in frustration.

Kai froze, feeling defensive. 'What is she even talking about? How am I supposed to control myself when we're close? And she was the one teasing me!' he thought to himself, unable to voice his thoughts aloud.

"I-I apologize... I'll try to be more mindful in the mornings," Kai stammered, his face turning red.

"Oh, no need to apologize. It's good that you're energetic in the mornings," Victoria responded, blushing slightly at her own words.

"I'll make sure to start the day with positive energy then," Kai replied with an awkward smile.

Satisfied with his response, Victoria nodded and smiled. "Alright, I'll be heading out now. Take care of yourself, and if you need anything, ask the maids, okay?"

Kai acknowledged her departure and watched her leave, feeling a mix of emotions.
