Fresh Air
Aiden was silent at Amy's words. In his mind, whatever the Princess's lady in waiting was saying did not make any sense.
"Like the Princess?" Aiden raised his eyebrows as he stood still. He wanted to defend himself subconsciously but he could not come up with anything against the words.
'I like her?'
'Impossible.'
'How can I possibly like the Princess?'
'No, she is just working for me.'
'This girl does not know what she is saying.'
Aiden's sight was fixed on Amy. He wanted to know what she was thinking to come up with such a bizarre thought.
Amy was happy. Her eyes widened as she nodded her head in agreement. She thought that Duke Salvador was angry.
'Yes, Duke Salvador must be disappointed in Ed.'
Amy was confident in her judgment. "Duke Salvador must not know but it is quite evident in his eyes."
"How so?" Aiden folded her hands as he asked.
